Batu Caves is een iconische en populaire toeristische attractie in Selangor. Site van een hindoetempel en heiligdom, Batu Caves trekt duizenden aanbidders en toeristen. Een kalksteenrots net ten noorden van Kuala Lumpur, Batu Caves heeft drie hoofdgrotten met tempels en hindoeïstische heiligdommen. De belangrijkste attractie is het grote standbeeld van de hindoe-god bij de ingang, naast een steile 272 klim de trappen op om eindelijk de prachtige skyline van het stadscentrum te bekijken. Our driver was friendly and reliable, the car was comfortable, guide was not included but our driver was knowledgeable.
We had a wonderful time on this tour. Start early in the day to beat the heat! The driver was not chatty and did not speak great English but delivered us to each stop as expected. Women should be sure to wear long pants or a skirt for Batu Caves or they will sell you a sarong for 15 ringgits. The elephant sanctuary was amazing. We purchased a guide that explained so much and helped us access to feed many of the elephants. Such a memorable day!
Our driver Nagen was excellent. He recommended a specific guide at the elephant sanctuary who was wonderful! The elephants were so gentle and sweet, and appeared very well cared for. Interacting with them was the highlight of my trip to Malaysia!
Great day! Hotel pickup was prompt, Batu Caves was first and before crowds. (Loved the monkeys.) Then on to the Elephant Conservation center. Definitely recommend getting a guide there! Bring cash to pay the center directly - worth it. Our driver, Nagen, was excellent!! He was thoughtful, friendly, and had good suggestions. Great private tour! Thank you!!

Batu Caves are wonderful! Well worth the climb up the stairs too… The elephant sanctuary was the highlight of our trip to KL. We had a local guide in the sanctuary which is an extra cost paid there in cash but it’s a really good choice as you see lots more and get close, close enough to stroke, to some of the elephants!
Transport was a private taxi which suited us perfectly. The driver contacted us via Watsapp to confirm pick up and had good knowledge of the two places we visited. We went early morning to the caves which was ideal as gets very busy. Just a note you will need to book a guide if you want to interact/feed the elephants.
Nice Day out. Batu Caves are amazing. Elephant Sanctuary very good - but disappointed to see only about 4 Elephants. But Wife fully enjoyed feeding and getting up close with them. Our Driver was very knowledgable and a safe Driver. Car comfortable and clean. Recommended.
