The audio guide is good but is a real faff to use, not very user friendly. You can't download it prior even though you think you have. It doesn't download to your phone. As others have said you need it open prior to go into the Basilica. There was a change to how tickets are distributed which is abit odd, ie finding the lad with a flag in the street who then gives you a paper ticket. Bizarre I know. All was good though and we got in without a problem. Went at 930am and was lucky as there were no queues. Awesome experience, worth visiting.
Stunning visit. I didn't realise that water would be dripping on us, but made no difference the cistern is well worth visiting.
Incredibly beautiful and amazing site. Buy tickets beforehand and be sure to download them while you have WiFi. Same for the audio guide.
Great experience! Loved visiting the cistern. I HIGHLY recommend the"skip the line" ticket. It's well worth it! The only thing I'd like changed is the audio guide because the wifi isn't good and it's hard to operate the audio link. It's prefer to have s manual, old fashioned guide device over using or phones. Otherwise it's a great experience!
We had to queue for over an hour, it rained and we tied up, we paid to get in without queues,
Dear Francis, We would like to clarify that the tickets provided are specifically "Skip the Line" tickets, designed to bypass the main ticket purchase queue. If you choose to stand in the general admission line despite having these priority tickets, we unfortunately cannot be held responsible for the wait time incurred. Additionally, please understand that local weather conditions, such as rain, are entirely outside of our control. Our service is focused on providing valid entry and priority access as described.
I booked this "skip the line" tour with Trip Advisor. I received several e-mails in advance stating "inside is your ticket". When we reached the Basilica Cisterna, the receptionist said that only vouchers with QR codes could be accepted but my voucher was a bar code. The tour company kindly provided a helpline number. I called the number but it just rang out. 🤨
Dear, We would like to clarify that the digital ticket for this attraction was successfully generated and sent out to you. Because the local museum turnstiles strictly require QR codes rather than standard barcodes, our automated delivery system sends the exact format required for entry. Regarding our customer support, we want to assure you that our WhatsApp support line is open and active 24/7. Our system is optimized to instantly retrieve and forward your valid QR-code tickets the exact moment a guest inputs their Booking Reference ID into the chat. We regret if there was any difficulty reaching us via a voice call at that specific moment, but our digital chat support remains fully staffed and operational to resolve gate issues in real-time. We always aim to provide a seamless "skip-the-line" experience, and we will use your feedback to make our email instructions regarding QR codes even more prominent for future travelers. If you have any further details you would like to share, please feel free to reach out to us directly.
SUPER crowded on a Sunday as locals get free entry. Once inside, no Internet access and audio guide was unavailable. Made worse by the crowd all taking selfies or family group photos as they get to the bottom of the stairs, we couldn’t wait to get out. Was cool to see but not for the cost/hassle. Would have been great to learn more of the history.
As this is one of the most visited sites in the city, crowds and visitors taking photos are a normal part of the experience, especially on weekends. This is a public historical monument not something controlled by the ticket provider. Regarding the audio guide, please note that it includes an offline listening feature specifically designed for cases where internet connectivity may be limited, and this is explained in the product information.
Definitely worth a visit. Lots of people but the history of the place made it such a treat. Especially since we had never been in one before and probably wont ever be again.
Talk about feeling like you stepped through to an ancient time and an ancient world. Breathtakingly beautiful at every turn. Highly recommend!
Do not but just go stand in line - this company did not send me a ticket and I had to get help and wait 30min for my ticket to be sent.
Dear Guest, We would like to clarify that the tickets are sent automatically and instantly by our system after purchase. As clearly stated multiple times in the product description, tickets may sometimes land in the spam/junk folder, which is why we specifically advise guests to check all folders. Additionally, our contact details are provided throughout the product and confirmation, and we are always available to resend tickets immediately if needed. The ticket remains valid and can still be used on the same day once accessed correctly. We strongly recommend carefully reviewing the provided instructions to avoid such misunderstandings.
