Bereid je voor op een avontuur vol actie, een halve dag, wildwaterraften op de rivier de Barron! Navigeer tot 2 - uur lang door spannende Grade 2 en 3 stroomversnellingen, terwijl je door het hart van Barron Gorge National Park raast. Voel de drukte terwijl je de stroomversnellingen aanpakt en geniet vervolgens van het prachtige landschap terwijl je langs ruige kliffen, dramatische ravijnen en weelderig regenwoud zweeft. Great day on the water. Excellent guides. Felt very safe. Lots of specific instructions for paddling which was very helpful for me. Fun groupto go with and had a lovely day. Would definitely recommend it with this company.

Danny in the red boat was an amazing instructor — he explained all the safety instructions clearly, made everyone feel comfortable, and then we were off. It was my first white water rafting experience and it absolutely exceeded expectations. Such a fun, exciting adventure with a great team and awesome atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone thinking of giving it a go — I’ll definitely be rafting again

For protection against splashing water, a neoprene wetsuit is recommended over a kappa if you are expecting to wear a life jacket. It has excellent heat retention and elasticity, and I think it is easy to move your body if you should fall into a river, and it is safe equipment.

This is not for beginners or someone that has never gone whitewater rafting. You do not get to just ride down the river. You basically have to learn 5 very important commands in 15 minutes and then you are in big rapids. One of our people was tossed out of the raft within the first five minutes. None of us knew anything about whitewater rafting and we were terrified. That being said our guide was top notch, and very skilled at navigating the river, she knew what she was doing and got us through it! I can cross this off my bucket list! I need a T-Shirt that says I survived whitewater rafting on the Barron River!

The White Water Rafting was very exciting and very well organised. We went on a day when the river was very high and safety was a high priority yet we still had a lot of thrills. We are going to go white water rafting again.

Great time rafting with Cairns Adventure Group. The river was flowing and we got some really good rapids. Felix was the guide for our boat and he was helpful and fun. The company as a whole seemed a tiny bit disorganized while we were waiting to actually get on the river, but that was mostly a minor detail. The trip was a lot of fun.

Be prepared to be completely dunked! We had such a fun and wild time and Megan expertly guided us down the river. The rapids were exhilerating and not the leisure ride we were expecting...much better.

Very thorough and clear guides, who provide everything from transportation, gear and how-tos for going rafting. The rapids were probably class 2-3, very mild and great experience for beginners.
