Deze eet- en wijnervaring toont de boetiek en de meer bekende 3 - 4 wijnhuizen en culinaire hoogstandjes van de beroemde wijnstreek van Zuid-Australië - The Barossa Valley. U heeft de mogelijkheid om uw chauffeur te vragen of u naar een specifiek wijnhuis wilt gaan? Als je niet naar Maggie's boerderijwinkel wilt, kunnen we je naar een ander wijnhuis brengen terwijl anderen in Maggie's zijn? Het is een groepsreis, totaal een gedeelde ervaring en aantallen kunnen oplopen van 2 tot 30 personen per dag en kunnen worden ondergebracht in een auto, minibus en bus / touringcar. Wij bieden zowel de kenner als de alledaagse drinker een ervaring om nooit te vergeten. We experimenteren met nieuwe en verschillende stijlen om “small batch” wijnen te creëren die tot de verbeelding spreken en de zintuigen prikkelen, de meeste hiervan zijn alleen verkrijgbaar bij onze kelderdeur. Onze nieuwste creatie is onze Premium Basket Pressed Apple Cider. Het is handgemaakt met behulp van traditionele technieken die de versheid van de lokaal geteelde appels hebben gevangen. Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop is een iconische Barossa Valley-bestemming met een heerlijk assortiment gastronomische producten, waaronder conserven, sauzen en speciaal voedsel geïnspireerd op Maggie Beer’s recepten. Bezoekers kunnen proeven van lokale smaken, bladeren door prachtig samengestelde geschenken en ontspannen bij de schilderachtige omgeving van het meer.
Chateau Dorrien Winery in de Barossa Valley staat bekend om zijn elegante wijnen en charmante, rustieke omgeving. De wijnmakerij biedt een gevarieerde selectie van hoogwaardige variëteiten, waaronder opvallende rode en witte wijnen, gemaakt met een focus op traditie en vakmanschap. Bezoekers kunnen genieten van een ontspannen proeverij te midden van prachtige uitzichten op de wijngaard.
Monkey Nut Café in de Barossa Valley biedt een gezellige, ontspannen sfeer met een focus op lokaal geproduceerd, heerlijk eten en koffie. Het is een populaire plek voor casual dineren, perfect om te genieten van de smaken van de regio.

Overall we did have a good day. Unfortunately for us we had a very, very new tour guide, appreciate they have to start somewhere but it was very evident this was new if not very first day… They didn’t have any wine knowledge, read off notes on a phone and took multiple wrong turns even with maps directing. I’ve done many wine tours around the world and this was a first to have a guide that didn’t know anything about wine so I feel like we missed out on a lot. There was a bit of confusion throughout the day, told going to a winery then ended up at Maggie beer with no explanation, assumed a tasting but just walked inside and that was it. We had no idea what we were doing there.

We had a fantastic experience. The wineries provided great presentations on their wine tasting. The places we were taken to, where boutique wineries not the mass produced type found in large retail outlets. The lunch provided was lovely in a beautiful setting. Made a lot of acquaintances with people from all over the world which made it a truly cultural experience. Would recommend it for locals for this reason. Deep was a fantastic guide.

Spent the day in the Barossa with Deep and two other tour participants. As there were only 3 of us Deep drove us around in a car, which made the tour more intimate. The four wineries were top notch - I particularly enjoyed Kies winery. Would highly recommend this tour.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks for Saturday's tour as it was so amazing. Everyone had the best time. You all do an amazing job with communication pre booking and on the day with pick ups etc. Makes it all go very smoothly. The whole day was so good with a good variety of wineries and Maggie beers. Maddie our tour guide was fabulous with loads of info and fun along the way and kept us all on track. The only feedback I would give is re the last winery Chateau Tanunda and the presenter was very lack lustre and not at all welcoming or fun and the wine wasn't very good either. All the other wineries were amazing and delicious wine. Look forward to booking with you again for our next adventure. Regards and thanks Jodie Cook

Paul, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable. He shared a lot of interesting information throughout the day, and we appreciated his enthusiasm. However, the tour felt a little rushed, and I was expecting a more wine-focused experience. Although there were five stops (including feeding the horses), there were only two wine tastings. I had expected more winery visits and more opportunities to taste different wines. The first stop was at Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop, where we only had time to browse the shop. We then visited the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company, which was an unexpected stop for many guests. One guest even chose to stay on the bus rather than visit the chocolate shop, as it was not what she had expected from a wine tour. We then continued to Château Tanunda for a wine tasting. Lunch was at Kies Family Wines, where we also had another wine tasting, and the day finished with free time in the German town of Hahndorf. Overall, it was an enjoyable day, but it felt more like a Barossa Valley sightseeing tour than a dedicated wine tour. If you’re booking this tour mainly for wine tasting, it’s worth knowing that the itinerary includes several non-wine attractions. This tour may be better suited to people who enjoy a relaxed sightseeing experience rather than those looking for a more immersive wine tour.
