Barhoppen Privétour in Kyoto (Plaatselijk gebied1)

It was lots of fun. We didn’t know anything about Japanese drinks. Takeshi is very personable and helpful. Now we know that my companion likes raw sake and I like beer and whisky.

The Tour with Takeshi was really fun! We started with a visit in the shrine where we met, Takeshi showed us the right way to pray! After that we walked to the sake tasting and the people where so nice!! When we finished we want to an Izakaya with lots of Good good food, like okonomyaki and the lady who owns the restaurant is soooo nice and cute! We talked a bit and felt so welcome thanks to her! And then the Highlight of the evening started, we got to a really small Bar on the third floor and met two costumers that made the evening Perfect for us!! Takeshi did his best while translating between us and the other two men and it was getting more funnier, the more we drank hahaha. This evening has a special Place in our hearts and thanks to Takeshi we could meet a lot of super nice Japanese people. We really appreciate the memories we made! Much love from Germany <3

My boyfriend and I had the BEST time bar hopping last night, all thanks to Takeshi! From the moment we met him, he was so welcoming, funny, and full of great energy. He made us feel like locals instantly, introducing us to hidden bars we never would’ve found on our own, and even introducing us to so many cool people along the way. It honestly felt like we were hanging out with an old friend who just happened to know all the best spots in town. Takeshi also gave us amazing recommendations for places to eat in Kyoto. Seriously, we’re going to check those out next! If you’re in town and want a night out that’s fun, authentic, and filled with good vibes, you NEED to do this. We had a great time exploring the bars of Kyoto with Takeshi! We had some amazing food and sake. Takeshi will give you the inside scoop of all the places to visit while in Kyoto and also teach you about Japanese culture. Highly recommend and would definitely book this tour again!

Takeshi will transport you to a world of a Japanese local. He might be reserved at the start but he will open up about his life, his family and soon enough you will be just like a local from Kyoto hanging out with a friend after work. He will bring you to drink sake that only locals would know, eat at places that only speak Japanese so you can see what daily life is and bump into people that are just looking to have a good time (with Takeshi as a translator!). You will truly become a local just for 4-5 hours. Most other places or tours are just catered to tourists but if your thing is to be part of local culture, this is the tour for you!
