Cava is een Spaanse oorsprongsbenaming voor mousserende wijnen, gemaakt volgens de traditionele methode van champagneproductie. De regio Cava omvat voornamelijk de Catalaanse regio Penedès, in de provincies Barcelona en Tarragona. In deze halte sluit je een heerlijke avond juichend af met een Catalaanse Cava in een traditionele bar uit 1912.
Je weet niet welke pintxo je moet kiezen, maar maak je geen zorgen, ze zijn allemaal voortreffelijk! Combineer het met een goede rode wijn uit Rivera del Duero, een van de beste gebieden voor wijnproductie, of een frisse witte Verdejo-wijn.

We had such a great time on our tour with Sofia. She was warm, super knowledgeable, and the way she mixed the city’s history into the food stops made it feel like two tours in one. We really appreciated how she helped us avoid the touristy places and introduced us to dishes and spots we would never have found on our own. It was relaxed, fun, and by the end we were full, happy, and felt like we understood Barcelona so much better.
What an amazing experience! I can’t even just call it a tour — it was definitely an experience. Daniel was fantastic and truly went above and beyond. We ate so much delicious food, trying things we hadn’t tasted before as well. He chose excellent places to stop, and the drink recommendations to pair with the food were spot on too.
Very unique and local. A great opportunity to explore the city in the non touristy areas and get your money’s worth.

We had a wonderful evening for Taverns and Tapas. Our guide was fantastic, and we especially loved that it was just 4 of us in the group. Our guide, Mariana, took us to great tapas spots that were all a short walking distance away from each other. We loved the variety of food and drinks. We were astounded by the AMOUNT of food and drink. We left absolutely stuffed. Mariana was so friendly and knowledgeable -- we made a friend and learned so much.
