Typisch, grote attracties ervaren lange wachtrijen tijdens piek vakantieperiodes zoals de zomer, weekenden, Kerstmis, Pasen en lokale feestdagen. Door een skip-the-line ticket te kopen, kunt u de wachtrij omzeilen als er toevallig een is. Very good tour to the Sagrada Familia!
Beautiful views of the church, a bit overcrowded but our guide was great at getting us info and through the tour.
Golden Tours I would avoid. Viator tried with no success to refund. My mother has mobility issues so I ask that she stand near the tour entry. I went to the meeting place and never saw guide or a group walking toward us. I was literally one minute from entry. They refused giving us another tour or refunding. I have toured Sagrada before but my mother had not. My last tour company checked and made sure everyone was accounted for. Same went for a tour I took in the afternoon of the Gaudí houses. The guide checked everyone. This company Golden Tours obviously is too worried about $$ to care about their customers. Will never book a tour with them again.
Marc was knowledgeable and answered all questions. He gave just enough detail without it being an overload. He was efficient with the time and made sure we saw all highlights.
Aliex was a great guide, very knowledgeable, insightful, and philosophical. We really appreciated his take on things and his ability to express Gaidi‘s vision. The audio devices were very reliable and made following the tour easy. They made a point was very crowded, but Aliex worked hard to get us all organized without any issues. My mother had a wheelchair and he made us feel very prioritized and comfortable throughout the tour. He resonated with all of us from 84 to 24 years okd! Thank you for a great tour

Our guide was friendly, welcoming and the tour started punctually. While the audio quality was not always clear, resulting in some information being lost, the greatest disappointment was the way the Basilica’s purpose and symbolism were presented. The official Sagrada Família publications describe the Basilica as far more than an architectural masterpiece. As the Foundation explains, it is “a summary in stone of the Christian faith” and was designed to communicate the core beliefs of Christianity through architecture rich in symbolism. Gaudí intended the Basilica to be “read like the Bible,” with every façade, tower, sculpture, colour and ray of light conveying a theological message. Unfortunately, our tour largely presented the Basilica from a secular architectural perspective. While I appreciate that guides should be inclusive and respectful of visitors of all beliefs, I felt the religious origins, purpose and symbolism were significantly underemphasised. At times, the presentation appeared to minimise or reinterpret elements that the Basilica itself officially identifies as central to its mission. Visitors certainly do not need to share the Christian faith to appreciate the Sagrada Família, but they do deserve an accurate explanation of Antoni Gaudí’s vision and the Basilica’s intended meaning, leaving them free to draw their own conclusions. I would recommend Golden Tour improve the audio system and ensure that guides present the Basilica in a way that faithfully reflects its official history and purpose, as described by the Sagrada Família Foundation itself. Despite these concerns, the guide was courteous and well organised, and the experience of visiting this extraordinary monument remains unforgettable.
