Geniet van een nachtelijke wandeling van 2 uur rond het middeleeuwse Barcelona en leer over de donkere kant van de geschiedenis van de stad. Dit is een leuke en fascinerende wandeling om het verhaal van de Spaanse Inquisitie, de manier van uitvoering in Barcelona en enkele van de legendes rond de wijk El Born te ontdekken. Een must om dit deel van de stad te verkennen terwijl je leert over zijn duistere geheimen.

De tour begint rond de schemering, dus de starttijd varieert gedurende het jaar, eerder in de winter (19.00 uur) en later in de zomer (21.00 uur). Hoewel sommige van de legendes van Barcelona kunnen worden opgenomen, houd er rekening mee dat dit geen Ghost Tour is, maar een historische wandeling gericht op het meer gruwelijke deel van het verleden van de stad. Voor kwaliteitsdoeleinden en extra interactie met de gids is het aantal deelnemers beperkt tot 15 per groep, dus het wordt sterk aanbevolen om vroeg te boeken. Vanwege de inhoud wordt deze tour niet aanbevolen voor kinderen jonger dan 14 jaar.

Elena was our guide, deeply knowledgeable about the history of Spain, particularly the Inquisition. She engaged the group from the start, getting to know each of us and showing sincere interest in our backgrounds and what drew us to the tour. In my book, this tour is under-priced for its value. This tour was one of the best tours I have done. Booking and meeting: We booked it last minute, got to the meeting point that was easy to find. Met with our tour guide, Elena who was super friendly, kind and funny. She made us feel welcome, included and made sure she answered all of our questions. The Tour: Lots of good stops that have great stories, props and use of a projector to really bring the tour to life. This tour teaches not only the history and importance of the Catalunya region. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat The Guide: What truly set this tour apart was the tour guide, Elena. She took the time to learn all of our names, including us in many stories to ensure we understood. Waited for questions, made us laugh and feel so welcome. I would honestly say that Elena is what makes this tour a 10/10, if you have the chance to meet her as your guide, please do.
Elena was the best tour guide! Knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining, and one of the best tour guides we've had in the city. You could tell she was passionate about the subject and gave us some lesser known insights into the most interesting parts of the city's dark past. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Elena!
