Begin bij de Boqueria Market, een van de beste voedselmarkten ter wereld. Terwijl uw Gids u door de gedessineerde wandelpaden leidt, leert u over Catalaanse eettradities en kunt u zelfs genieten van een proeverij van noga en olijven. Verken vervolgens de schilderachtige Ramblas-promenade. Geniet van de energie van deze voormalige markt en maak een paar foto's van openluchtcafés en het ongewone Miró-mozaïek. Ontdek in de Gotische wijk de Santa Caterina Markt, de eerste overdekte markt van de stad, met een golvend, kleurrijk dak en ruïnes van een middeleeuws klooster. We stoppen ook bij een caganerwinkel om het verhaal van een van Catalonië's vreemdste tradities te horen. Bezoek vervolgens de kerk van Santa Maria del Mar en tenslotte de El Born-markt, een opvallend gebouw dat nu de overblijfselen van de wijk Born huisvest.

- De wandeltocht is toegankelijk voor zowel rolstoelen als kinderwagens. De upgrade is echter niet toegankelijk.

Markets run through. A basic into to see where the markets are but only in the st. Joseph market we had a few minutes to visit a few stalls with the guide and taste a couple items. Then 10 minutes to shop before racing through the streets to the next destinations. Perrine was very informative and easy to interact. On a hot 40° day, it's tough to keep her pace tho.
