First time doing a personalized private tour and what a wonderful experience. Our host Mateus “Matt” was so gracious with his time, knowledge and love for Barcelona. My family took a tour to Girona, then Dali. Mateus gave a great overview of the history of Girona and Dali, offering numerous tidbits in a way that was never boring. In addition, he made terrific recommendations for places to shop and eat. Our family had plenty of time to explore the sites on our own. The great thing about Mateus was how accommodating and adaptable he could be. If we wanted to monopolize all of his time to talk, he would have done it. If we wanted to spend more time in Dali than Girona, he was flexible. He was punctual from pick up and at every stop we were meeting up. I was happy to hear that he does wine tours and other types of excursions that are truly outstanding. Thanks, Mateus!
