Bekijk een andere kant van Barcelona, op deze 4 uur durende fietstocht buiten de gebaande paden. Rijd in kleine groepen van max. 8 personen (plus Gids), en voel een nauwere band met de stad. Ontdek obscure maar mooie bezienswaardigheden zoals het Hospital de Sant Pau en de neoklassieke begraafplaats van Poblenou. Deze activiteit gaat niet over het zien van de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden en het horen van feiten die je in een gids zou kunnen lezen, het gaat over eropuit gaan op de fiets naar delen van de stad die veel locals niet eens kennen, in het gezelschap van een gepassioneerde Gids! Geen twee tours zijn hetzelfde, maar enkele van de coole ervaringen die u te wachten staan zijn : een rommelmarkt bezoeken, leren over de art nouveau en moderne architectuur van Barcelona, straatkunst bewonderen en rijden langs het strand van Barceloneta. Alle tours zijn inclusief een verfrissingspauze om te stoppen voor gebak of tapas in een lokale bar. Onze kleine groepsethos betekent dat je, in tegenstelling tot standaard fietstochten door de stad, niet alleen Barcelona leert kennen, maar ook ervaart!

Gebouwd voor de Olympische Spelen van 1992, transformeerde deze stralend witte jachthaven de kust van Barcelona en staat vol met bars, clubs en moderne sculpturen... zoals Frank Gehry's gouden vis. Gerenoveerd in 2024, het is een prachtige plek om onze tours te beginnen en te eindigen.
Deze voormalige industriewijk zit vol schatten, zoals moderne parken, neoklassieke begraafplaatsen, street art, "superblocks" en oogverblindende nieuwe architectonische projecten. Het is rustiger dan het centrum en ideaal om rond te fietsen. De meeste van onze tours komen langs deze wijk.
Dit fallisch gevormde wonder is een van de meest iconische gebouwen in Barcelona. We bewonderen de veelkleurige buitenkant en bespreken de modernisering van de stad.
We stoppen vaak bij deze charmante oude rommelmarkt en winkelen voor kitsch souvenirs, of stoppen voor een snack. Het hele gebied is de afgelopen jaren nieuw leven ingeblazen.
Dit prachtige park is vernoemd naar de citadel die hier ooit zat. We verkennen de vele bezienswaardigheden, waaronder een fontein die gedeeltelijk is ontworpen door Gaudi, en krijgen wat zuurstof in onze longen.
We laten reizigers graag de verborgen achterstraten van de wijk Born zien, vol geheimen, boetieks, ambachtelijke winkels en gezellige cafés ... het centrale 'plein' was vroeger een middeleeuwse steekplaats!
Op de meeste rondleidingen passeren we dit sensationele gotische meesterwerk en bewonderen we de gevel met rozenvenster, voordat we de rest van El Born verkennen.
Geen fietstocht in Barcelona is compleet zonder een rit langs het strand. Normaal gesproken reserveren we deze route voor de weg naar huis, genietend van de zon op onze gezichten en de carnavalsfeer van deze gekke playa.

This tour is a lovely opportunity to see some of the smaller charms of Barcelona. But can be challenging in the traffic. Our guide was friendly and provided great information and insight on the hidden charms of the city. We were able to see and understand history behind many highlights of Barcelona as well as enjoy the smaller quieter parts of the city. However the traffic (cars and pedestrians) posed some challenges. We really enjoyed our experience but would mention that our guide as quite late arriving therefore off to a late start which resulted in a late return. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the tour but not so much about the bikes when there were problems but in all fairness the bikes should have been in better running order. Fortunately one of the guests was able to fix most of the problems. Also safety wasn’t a priority and often we were not advisors of what to be aware of like the parking blockade at the bottoms of the return ramp. Some guests had to rush to the right at the last minute to prevent from cycling into it. Even with the challenges we experienced I would do this ride again. We got to see things we never would have otherwise. Thanks.
Marina was such a wonderful tour guide!! We absolutely loved how knowledgeable and enthusiastic she is. At the beginning of the tour, she takes the time to get to know everyone in the group seeking to understand what they’re excited about and what they want to learn in Barcelona, then, based on that, she creates a tour specifically for you based off of what you need and want. The result was having a wonderful time! I cannot recommend this enough, if possible try to take the tour with Marina!
Augustine was just superb and gave us a lot of information while on tour. It was just 4 people in the group so it was private and we biked for 3.5 hrs and saw a lot of Barcelona. Would highly recommend.

A must do. We did ours on day 3 of our visit to Barcelona. Refreshing to see new parts of the city. As obvious as it sounds, it’s great how much more one covers on a bicycle. Our guide was informative and engaging. The trip went through several different areas so there was some variety in what we saw. Biking through the Gothic Quarter is not the easiest due to its narrow alleys and need to dodge pedestrians. As such, I would advise doing this tour when tourism is at its lowest.
