Je reist van Bangkok naar Ayutthaya UNESCO Werelderfgoed en brengt de dag door met het verkennen van de belangrijkste historische bezienswaardigheden, waarbij je oude tempels, rivierlandschap en het lokale leven combineert in één ervaring. Bij Wat Mahathat zie je een van de meest iconische beelden van Thailand, het Boeddhahoofd omringd door boomwortels, een krachtig symbool van natuur en geschiedenis die samenkomen. Ga verder naar Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, een van Ayutthaya's meest herkenbare tempelcomplexen, bekend om zijn grote centrale chedi en lange rijen zittende Boeddhabeelden gedrapeerd in saffraankleurige gewaden. We had two guides, Nok and Wannapa, along with our driver, Rung, who was excellent behind the wheel. The meeting point was easy to find, and it's best to arrive early because there's usually heavy traffic in the morning. Since it's located in a shopping mall, you can also have breakfast there before the tour. We departed right on time, and our guides shared both practical information and interesting historical and cultural background during the journey. Their English was excellent, and they were attentive to the needs of everyone in the group. They took us to a lovely restaurant with great food. The tour itself isn't physically demanding; it mostly depends on the weather and how hot it is. As an extra thoughtful touch, they provided us with bottled water at both the beginning and the end of the trip. Highly recommended. Thank you for a wonderful day!
We met in the morning, Kung and Wanna are our guide. They gave the really important information and details which I cannot find on the net. Also we learn some Thai words 🧡 So till the end of the trip, I was all ears :) Khob khun khâ 🛺
Toto was absolutely amazing! Fantastic guide, he was extremely knowledgeable and happily answered my numerous questions in detail. He was a great guide and very cheery and kept the energy up all day! The 3 temples were all very interesting and different so it was lovely to see the range. The lunch spot was also good and not expensive (which I was cautious for). The boat ride to the last temple was lovely and we saw so many catfish in the protected area of water. A wonderful day trip from Bangkok!
We visited 3 temples in Ayutthaya and the experience was incredible! Nok, the tour guide was so friendly and she make sure everyone knew the history of the places and take enough time to enjoy and take pictures.

Experience nice overall, tour guides speak good english, and are knowledgable and friendly. The length of visit is okay, but would be a bit short if you want an in-depth experience.
It has been a good tour; you save time on transfers and see everything. The guides are attentive and friendly; around 5:00 PM, you finish the tour and have the whole afternoon to see more things.
