Ballonvaart met gratis drankje vanuit Coruche

Some time ago, my bride offered me a voucher for a hot air balloon ride. Since we did not live in Portugal, the idea was to use the voucher when we traveled to Lisbon on holiday. We checked the flight and since then everything has gone wrong. To begin, only inform the departure point 24 hours before the tour. Now, this is completely absurd, since the hypotheses they gave us were to fly in Coruche or in Monsaraz. Just look at a map of Portugal to see that none of these places are close to each other. Since we were staying in Lisbon, I tried to call before the flight date to figure out the starting point. I explained the situation by phone and mentioned that in order to be there at 6 a.m., we would have to plan ahead of time. The answer was simply: “We don’t know, we’ll send you an email on Friday with the confirmation” (the flight was scheduled for Monday). Well, after the weekend, on Sunday we received an email canceling the flight for reasons of “bad weather” (in the full month of August, in Alentejo, with sun forecast and 35 degrees) and informing that we could re-start for another date in October. As it is logical, October is a time of year known for having better weather conditions than August, right? I then sent an email explaining that we did not live in Portugal and that, therefore, we would not be able to return. I requested the refund, since we can not be constantly traveling to Portugal and taking days of vacation in anticipation that eventually the flight will take place (without even knowing where). The answer was that we could only receive a partial refund of 60 euros (on a 150 flight) per voucher. However, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (Law No. 24/96, of 31 July) and with the Decree-Law No. 84/2021, the consumer has the right to a refund of the amount paid when the Service is not provided as contracted. I explained this legal provision by email to the employees of the Enterprise concerned, but they reiterated that the weather conditions were not ideal and that, as such, they are entitled to cancel any flight and retain the money of customers.

The flight was wild on a day of little or almost no wind, the conditions for a perfect flight seemed to be formed. With views over the Alqueva, Monsaraz and sunrise, it was beautiful. The landing was catastrophic, I don't know what happened but we walked for a good bit, which seemed like an eternity, to the trampoline inside the basket, we only stopped when the hundred hit a tree. I don't know if it's normal to happen but it was very bad, I'm still full of black nodos and pain in the body. It was really scary.

A very pleasant trip, the very professional staff, was an unforgettable trip. I highly advise everyone to have a kind of experience like this. My thanks to the Windpassanger team!

Great assistance from the Windpassenger team, being that Guido our balloon driver was 5 stars, providing unique moments during the flight, such as the balloon basket being shaving the corn and rice fields or being at 1000 feet altitude, alternating between altitudes during the flight, always with very good disposition. The flight is exactly as Guido said....it's a Zen flight, very serene.

This was amazing from beginning to end. The folks were willing to work with us and we did the couples flight with Guido. He was amazing and hospitable. The after flight lunch was also a great add on for us. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a bid of adventure with some zen thrown in for good measure. I would do this again in a heartbeat. We booked transfer so that we would arrive on time and didn't have to worry about how we would get an hour's ride out of Lisbon. All of it was amazing.

Great team, excellent organization and always available to help with any questions. It was necessary to change the dates a few times due to weather conditions, but there were never any problems.

I loved the experience. It was a unique 50 minutes, super relaxing and enjoying the beauty of nature. I recommend it, super attentive team, thinking about the details… toast with champagne at the end and certificate of participation

Wow that's all I have to say, in addition to a beautiful and wonderful day spent alongside incredible people who were ready to help us, we had a peaceful trip in peace with beautiful landscapes, not to mention that I arrived with a boyfriend and got out of the balloon bride. I loved the flight, it was an excellent day to fly, luckily we flew at the first appointment. I highly recommend it 😊 we took lots of photos. It was beautiful.
