Deze tour combineert enkele van de minder bekende landen op de Balkan; Albanië, Macedonië, Kosovo en Montenegro, door te proberen het beste van elk van deze landen te laten zien. Albanië biedt een mix van culturele elementen met 3 UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocaties en een rijk archeologisch erfgoed. Macedonië biedt enkele van de meest uitstekende religieuze relikwieën, met Ohrid met het grootste iconenmuseum in de regio en vele prachtige kerken. Dit thema wordt overgedragen naar Kosovo, de nieuwste staat van Europa, waar we religieuze monumenten combineren met het proeven van wijn en lokale gerechten. De Tour zal eindigen in Montenegro, dat naam heeft gemaakt op basis van zijn wilde natuurlijke schoonheid.

Thank you to Alma at Albania Express Travel for arranging an exceptional 30 day private tour of 8 Balkan countries. The itinerary was well organized and our hotels ranged from 3* to 5*. All but one were good and as we requested they were well located within very easy walking distance of attractions and restaurants. We were also very impressed at how quickly Alma was able to put together a custom itinerary and quote the cost. Adam was our very competent and friendly guide/driver and he drove a nice comfortable Land Rover. He often drove routes which were longer just so we could get great photos such as Kotor Bay from high up in the mountains of Montenegro and Uvac Canyon in Serbia. Sorry about that terrible road Adam :) but Uvac really was worth it! If you are thinking about travelling to Albania or any of the nearby countries I definitely recommend that you contact Albania Express Travel.
