De Besakih-tempel staat bekend als de moedertempel van Bali en staat plaatselijk bekend als Pura Besakih. De tempel wordt zo genoemd vanwege de oorsprong van het woord Pura, een Balinese hindoeïstische tempel. Omdat het de grootste en heiligste tempel van Bali is, bestaat het uit 86 tempels en het lijdt geen twijfel dat je er een geweldige tijd zult hebben om het te verkennen. Gebouwd op een natuurlijke bron, wordt de Gunung Kawi Sebatu-tempel beschouwd als een van de meest vredige, rustige en mooiste heiligdommen. De tempel heeft verschillende vijvers en zwembaden. Een groot meer springt direct in het oog als je vanaf de entree de trap af loopt. In het midden van het meer staat een fontein met een standbeeld van de godin van kennis, kunst en muziek, Sarasvati. Achter het meer is een ommuurd gebied met twee zwembaden bedoeld om in te zwemmen. Als je je verkenning naar het noorden voortzet, betreed je het verhoogde, belangrijkste tempelterrein. Hier vind je veel heiligdommen, waaronder Candi Bentar; prachtig omgeven door water en een geweldige kans om een perfecte ansichtkaartfoto te maken. Dit is inclusief geschatte rijtijd
Neem plaats op een van de Bali Jungle Swings in Ubud om die insta-waardige foto te maken! Het is precies hoe het klinkt: een gigantische schommel waarbij je uitzwaait over de jungle die Ubud is. If you’re visiting Bali, this is the perfect way to experience Ubud! Buddy from ForeverVacation was an outstanding guide who made the entire day enjoyable and relaxing. From the beautiful rice terraces and waterfalls to local cultural sites, every stop was incredible. We had an amazing Ubud tour and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our guide, Reno, was incredibly knowledgeable - he shared so much insight about the culture, history, and local spots that we would’ve completely missed on our own. On top of that, he’s fantastic at photography and made sure we got some truly beautiful shots throughout the day. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Reno as your guide!

Very very good tour for several reasons: 1. Everything is very well organized, planned in advance — we had the chance of having the great Turah as guide, who coordinated everything, made some changes to the tour to accommodate our wishes and made sure everything was going at the right rhythm. 2. The spots are well chosen, with beautiful sights, nice history and not too many people so you can enjoy peacefully 3. Our guide Turah had great stories and explanations about the differents sites, Balinese stories, personal experiences — was great to interact all day 4. Our driver was driving nicely so my pregnant wife never had the nausea while going through the narrow routes of Ubud 100% recommend

We had a wonderful trip with our guide, Sugara, who showed us Bali's landscape, nature, and temples. Sugara is kind, knowledgeable, imbued with subtle humor, hardworking, and dedicated. He is also a great driver! We learned so much about landscape, the history of Bali, current events, and the beauty of this Island. We had a great meal as well, and Sugara made sure that we were comfortable throughout the trip. This trip meant so much to us, and I can't clearly convey how happy I was to travel with Sugara. I had a great time visiting the waterfalls of Bali with Buddy and Gede. They pointed out the most beautiful areas and were very patient. The coffee experience was a nice touch as well.

Nice organisation. No issues, everthing went smooth. Buddy, the guide, was accompanying me the whole time with patience, gave me information if needed. I felt safe, he was protecting me from the aggressive sellers. He is good driver/ guide and a very kind and polite guy.

I did the Best of Ubud tour with Gusde and had a wonderful time! We went to two temples, a waterfall, swing with the best view and a coffee plantation. The day ran smoothly and I felt like I got a good taste of Balinese countryside. Gusde was friendly and knowledgeable and I would love to take a tour with him again next time I am in Bali!
