Ga met ons mee om uw reis te beginnen met een knal in magische Bacalar! Ontdek de hoogtepunten van de regio met twee flexibele touropties. Alle entreegelden zijn inbegrepen, en de ervaring is soepel, ontspannen. Hotel pick-up en drop-off in Bacalar zijn inbegrepen. Optie 1 – Ruïnes van Ichkabal + ontbijt: (8:30 AM–12:30 PM) : Vroege hotel pick-up en transfer naar de indrukwekkende Ichkabal Maya ruïnes (Facultatieve beklimming van twee 30–40 m piramides), ver weg van de drukte. Geniet van vrije tijd om de piramides en de jungle-omgeving te verkennen, gevolgd door een lokaal ontbijt met traditionele smaken, vers fruit, koffie en sap. Optie 2 – Volledige ervaring (Ichkabal + ontbijt + Los Rápidos + droneshot) : (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) : Tour van een hele dag : Na optie één gaan we verder naar Los Rápidos – een van de meest ontspannende plekken in Bacalar Lagoon. Het is een smal natuurlijk kanaal met een zachte stroming, waar je kunt zwemmen of meedrijven in helder turquoise water. Er is ook een restaurant en een bar op het terrein om te ontspannen.

Diep verborgen in de jungle is Ichkabal één van de belangrijkste en meest mysterieuze Maya steden die ooit ontdekt is. Ooit een politiek en spiritueel centrum, speelde het een sleutelrol in de vorming van de oude Maya beschaving. Na vele jaren van onderzoek en restauratie is Ichkabal onlangs geopend voor het publiek, wat een unieke kans biedt om een heilige plek te verkennen die onaangetast is door massatoerisme. De reis begint bij Ichkabal, waar we wandelen tussen oude tempels en pleinen omringd door weelderige jungle. Tijdens de wandeling is het gebruikelijk om apen, vossen en kleurrijke tropische vogels te spotten die in dit gebied wonen. Dit is niet alleen een bezoek aan een archeologische site — het is een stap terug in de tijd om de magie, mysterie en natuur van de Maya-wereld te ervaren.

Los Rápidos is een van de meest prachtige en unieke delen van de Bacalar Lagoon — een natuurlijk kanaal waar tinten turkoois en diepblauw op een betoverende manier mengen. Hier kunt u zich laten meedrijven met de zachte stroming en zich volledig verbonden voelen met de natuur, omringd door kristalhelder water en het rustige geluid van de jungle. Het is ook een perfecte plek om per kajak te verkennen, soepel door het kalme water te glijden terwijl u de ongelooflijke schoonheid van de lagune bewondert. Of, als u dat liever heeft, gewoon relaxen aan het water, genieten van een tropisch drankje en de ontspannen sfeer in u opnemen. Los Rápidos is meer dan alleen een prachtige plek — het is een natuurlijk paradijs waar de tijd vertraagt en elk moment puur en levend aanvoelt. ⚠️ Gelieve op te merken: Om een comfortabele ervaring voor alle gasten te garanderen en ons schema op tijd te laten lopen, zijn pick-ups alleen beschikbaar binnen de aangewezen gebieden die op het platform zijn gespecificeerd. Als uw locatie zich buiten deze gebieden bevindt, stellen we graag een handig ontmoetingspunt in de buurt voor u voor. Ophaalbeleid voor de tour • Gasten moeten op tijd klaarstaan en buiten hun accommodatie wachten op het tourvoertuig. • De chauffeur hoeft slechts maximaal 5 minuten te wachten. Daarna is het de verantwoordelijkheid van de gast om zelfstandig het ontmoetingspunt van de tour te bereiken. • Houd er rekening mee dat het niet op tijd komen opdagen wordt beschouwd als een no-show. In dergelijke gevallen worden wijzigingen of terugbetalingen in geen geval geaccepteerd. • In sommige gevallen heeft het voertuig mogelijk geen toegang tot alle straten of hotelingangen. Gasten moeten wachten op het dichtstbijzijnde aangewezen punt. • Vertragingen van maximaal 10 minuten als gevolg van verkeer of weer kunnen optreden. Wij vragen u vriendelijk om uw geduld. • Gasten moeten hun telefoon / WhatsApp actief houden voor contact. • Vergeet niet om essentiële spullen mee te nemen, zoals een handdoek en persoonlijke spullen die je nodig hebt.

Mehran was an excellent guide for our Los Rápidos and Ichkabal tour. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole experience enjoyable from beginning to end. The tour was well organized, the locations were beautiful, and we learned so much along the way. Mehran’s energy and passion really made the day special. This experience had a bit of everything I hoped for. Out your guide was super friendly, welcoming, responsible, and knowledgeable. The communication prior to the tour was outstanding. I wanted to explore the wilderness and get to the top of a historic site. This tour fulfilled that and more! I wanted to go to Los Rápidos and take cool photos. We did that and more! We left on time and came back on time. One of the highlights was the breakfast in the jungle. Want to feel the wind against your body after climbing a historic site? Do this tour.

I just went on this tour with my dad and it was an amazing experience. Mehran was a great tour guide that had a lot of interesting things to tell especially in ichkabal. The tour was beautiful, walking in a small group inside the jungle to see ichkabal felt almost unreal and cooling off in the water after was great as well. Mehran also took very cool videos and fotos of us in the water which was a very nice ending to the tour. Thank you so much! We had a great time.
Great experience. Had Ichkabal all to ourselves. Guide was knowledgeable and kind. Driver was fantastic. Los Rapidos was fun and the driver stayed with our things at the table while we made multiple runs to float the lazy river. Made for a stress free experience

If you're in Bacalar, the excursion with Mehran to Ichkabal is a must; the experience is magical. Being picked up from your hotel is very convenient, and the guides are charming and very friendly. They know the local customs, so they'll make sure you're well-informed throughout the tour. Mehran and Eli are excellent guides. The drive to Ichkabal is beautiful, as it's deep in the jungle, and you might even have the chance to see a jaguar and other wildlife. The stop with the local family for breakfast is a magical moment; they prepare delicious food and coffee. Plus, their prices are very reasonable compared to other tour companies. I highly recommend this excursion; you won't regret it. Si estás en Bacalar, la excursión con Mehran a Ichkabal es imprescindible; la experiencia es mágica. Our hosts were friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the site—which has only recently opened. Lunch was delicious and taken in a quiet food spot with a local family and their adorable daughter. Going to the site in the morning allowed us to be some of the first—and only—visitors which always makes a visit extra special, too!

Mehran was punctual with pick up and the whole tour went smoothly. From being one of the only groups to be at the ichkabal ruins in the morning and getting to see the good spots first. Then to a lovely breakfast with a small family in the forest was really good and the food provided was amazing. Then at los Rápidos was an amazing experience and topping it off with his drone shots! Would 100% recommend this tour if you want to get the most out of Bacalar.
