Het eiland Santa Cruz is het eerste meest bewoonde eiland van de Galapagos. Als u een natuurliefhebber bent, is dit uw favoriete plek. Welke activiteit je ook gaat doen, je wordt omringd door een immense en rijke flora en fauna. De beste momenten vol adrenaline zijn onder de zee. En op de Galapagos-eilanden vind je verschillende scenario's om te zwemmen met haaien, roggen en zeeschildpadden.

De boot brengt je naar een klein eilandje genaamd "LA LOBERIA", genoemd naar de grote kolonie zeeleeuwen waar je kunt snorkelen. Dit is een heel speciale plek om veel kleurrijke vissen te zien, diversiteit aan soorten van de zeebodem, het is ook een kusttour voor interpretatie van soorten en basaltformaties.
Daarna gaan we naar Punta Estrada, een kleine golf van kalm water waar je dieren kunt observeren zoals sterns, jan-van-genten, fregatvogels, zeeleeuwen en het meest verbazingwekkende om te snorkelen. Bezoek de natuurlijke geologische formatie van het haaienkanaal, ontstaan door magmatische energiezwellingen, waar je haaien in hun natuurlijke staat volkomen onschadelijk kunt observeren en vanuit het gezichtspunt kun je de haven en de bergen van de hooglanden zien.
Bezoek het liefdeskanaal is een andere prachtige spleetformatie door een spleetkanaal van een prachtig kanaal van slapend water met een uitstekende landschappelijke schoonheid.
Een inham van brak, zoet en kristalhelder water, kenmerken die het een goede plek maken om te snorkelen.

We had a difficult time finding the pickup point. We were giving two different points to meet one from the app and one from a message from the provider to meet Henry at a different location. To the best of my knowledge neither Henry or the location exist. I messaged back to the operator to verify the location and did not get a response. We found it with the help of a local tour office, but no one knew who Henry was, including the people of the pier. Fortunately a lady appeared with a clipboard that had our names on it. We were lead to believe we were going on a boat tour. This was a hiking and snorkling tour with a short boat ride across the harbor. It was a very nice tour, but I was unprepared and did not have my swim wear. The write up and communication for this tour needs to be fixed. The others in our group that booked through a local booking office did not have so much confusion and really enjoyed the trip. Our actual guide, Sergio was very good and very informative. He took us to some nice spots. We were also greated at the pier by sea lions and sea iguanas, which got us off to a good start.

This tour takes to the places that can only be seen by boat. The tour is a bit less than 4 hours, but totally worth it. We were able to see and enjoy all of the listed points of interests, and learn about the reach history along the way.
It was really nice we saw blue footed boobies, lots of iguanas, crabs, lava lizards and some sharks.
The tour guide was excellent and the number of stops made/places seen for the cost of the tour was well worth it. So far this has been the best part of The Galapagos for us.
This was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday. The tour guide was very pleasant and invited questions throughout the tour. He translated everything from Spanish to English. I saw sea lions, boobies, and sharks. The sea lions even came close and swam with other tourists in the water. It is so lovely to see them in the wild, living their best lives. I wish wildlife so was respected everywhere. The sights were impressive! I was fearful of sea sickness but this was not an issue at all, Thank God. It was a fabulous day out. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide was late to the pier, very confused. The trip is fantastic, truly. The so called "lunch" is more a snack: soda, a banana & cookies. Little details that one notices while being so far away from home. Galapagos is a paradise.

We were looking for something that was good value for money on the Galapagos- not an easy task!! However we booked this and really enjoyed it. Two different snorkel sites and three walks, all accompanied by a great guide who helped us by translating to English. We paid $45 each. The tour included Las Grietas and the guide paid the entry fees as part of our price. For us it was good value for money and a really enjoyable afternoon.

We really enjoyed this tour of sites near Puerto Ayora. The naturalist guide was very informative and seemed genuinely interested in sharing his love of all the wonderful animals and plant life that make the Galapagos unique. We were delighted to get up close with huge male marine iguanas, resting black tip reef sharks and beautiful blue-footed boobies.

The experience of swimming in the crevices is great but can be done without the need for excursion You take a taxi from the port to the Germans beach for $0.80 and then walk about 5' Save yourself the tour that makes you 20' snorkeling near the rocks
