Ontdek het prachtige Azoren eiland Sao Miguel. Breng een onvergetelijk uitje door met het verkennen van adembenemende vulkanische kraters, weelderige valleien en een ongelooflijk panoramisch uitzicht op de kust. Mis een bezoek aan de Sete Cidades niet, een plaats vol legendes en mythen, met twee tweelingmeren, de groene en de blauwe, voor altijd verenigd door een brug.

Vanaf Uw ontmoetingspunt reizen we door de Ponta Delgada Ocean Boulevard op weg naar de eerste stop bij Vista do Rei.
VISTA do REI waar u de mogelijkheid heeft om een van de bekendste panoramische ansichtkaarten van de Azoren te bewonderen, het bovenstaande uitzicht op de groene en blauwe meren van Sete Cidades. Het prachtige uitzicht op het eiland tweede grootste vulkanische krater met 5 km diameter. Weet over het historische verlaten hotel op de top van de berg dat slechts 18 maanden open was.
Afdalend naar het rustige en mooie dorpje Sete Cidades, een korte stop bij de brug tussen de meren alvorens aan te komen in het centrum gelegen in de bodem van de massieve vulkanische krater. Tijd voor een kopje koffie en een wandeling over het dorpscentrum en genieten van wat tijd aan de oever van het Blauwe meer. Een unieke gelegenheid om direct contact te hebben met de lokale bevolking van deze Paradijs op Aarde locatie.
Op de terugweg naar Ponta Delgada, nog één stop bij Pico do Carvão om te genieten van een adembenemend uitzicht op S Miguel Island en zowel Noord als Zuid tegelijkertijd. Het prachtige landschap van het laagste en smalste deel van het eiland S Miguel met het Lagoa de Fogo op de achtergrond. Vanaf hier leren we over de vorming van dit eiland, en op een heldere dag is het mogelijk om bijna de volledige lengte van het eiland te zien met Pico da vara, het hoogste punt aan de horizon
Terugkerend naar Ponta Delgada over een serpente weg, passeren we langs de prachtige grasvelden die natuurlijk voedsel leveren aan onze meer dan 100.000 zwart-witte koeien. Aangekomen bij Ponta Delgada bezoeken we een ananasplantage om meer te weten te komen over dit exclusieve proces van het kweken van deze Koning van de Vruchten in een speciale omgeving, uniek in de wereld.
Na dit bezoek keren we terug naar de stad en zetten we je af op een plek naar keuze. Ik hoop dat je genoten had van deze tour en de nieuwsgierigheid voelde om terug te komen naar deze prachtige archipel - De Azoren

Andre was great! A perfect English speaker and very knowledgeable. We were a party of four and his clean and comfortable Mercedes van was very comfortable.
The meeting information was horrible. It had us going across the island 30 min to meet. When I tried to call or message the provider, I never received a response. Had to call viator and they were not much help also

We would like just to remind you the informstion you have on your ticket or displayed at the activity webpage "What's Included Free Pick up and Drop off at Your Hotel/Cruise Ship Terminal or Airport in Ponta Delgada In this case you didn't have to search us for 30 min in the city or be waiting for us since 1:00pm one your tour had a starting time at 2 pm. The only option was to meet us inside the cruise ship terminal where your ship docked, 1 min after exiting the ship's door. As you were dully informed, your guide was touring other clients in the morning period and, as you well understand, for safety reasons he is not allowed to asnwer phone calls while driving or guiding. As soon as it was possible, I personnally answered you call and informed you were we were, Inside the Terminal where you found us. Rodrigo was incredibly knowledgeable about the island, its history, and all the local spots, and he shared so many interesting details throughout the day. He was attentive, friendly, and very generous with his time, making sure we never felt rushed and that we got to see everything we wanted. His enthusiasm and professionalism really made the experience special. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does, and it made the tour even more enjoyable for us. We can’t recommend this tour enough — it’s an absolute must-do when visiting the Azores!

Rafael met us immediately past security at the cruise terminal. He walked us to his Mercedes van parked 50 feet away. From that point on, he shared the love of his home with us. He did a great job taking us to all the places to see and was able to miss the busloads of tourists in each spot. It was a pleasant way to see the island in a leisurely way. Can't recommend this enough.

We spent a lovely afternoon with Mario. The van was comfortable and nice way to spend a day after several days of hiking. Mario was so informative and interesting! The views were breathtaking and surprises were welcome. We stopped off for a snack and rest and then finished with a visit to a pineapple farm. Completely unexpected! I highly recommend this tour.

Erik was a great guide and friendly with kids. He helped watch our little one and even entertained them at the many places we stopped. He grew up on the island with a long family history there so was great to talk to him about island life and what to explore. He knew alternatives for places to eat and places to take us.
