Een gecombineerde tour waarbij je alle vulkanologische activiteiten van een van de meest actieve vulkanen op de Azoren kunt bezoeken, evenals al zijn uitbarstingsgeschiedenis van meer dan 100.000 jaar oud en leer en proef hoe de lokale bevolking kookt met het eten van de vulkaan, en bewonder de natuurlijke schoonheid van de noordoostkant van het eiland beschouwd als het meest bloeiende deel van het eiland. Bewonder vanuit het gezichtspunt van Senhora da Paz, het resultaat van een vulkaanuitbarsting onder water, het prachtige eilandje Vila Franca do Campo, evenals de imposante kapeltrap met 10 verdiepingen die de Onze Vaders van de Blijde en Pijnlijke Mysteriën vertegenwoordigt plus de 100 stappen. met betrekking tot Weesgegroetjes, die samen overeenkomen met 2 derde van de rozenkrans;

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ophaal`s Van 9.00 uur tot 09.20 uur in Ponta Delgada. Van 9.30 uur tot 9.45 uur in Ribeira Grande. Houd er rekening mee dat het ophalen vertraging kan oplopen als gevolg van het ophalen bij verschillende accommodaties. Indien nodig kunt u worden doorverwezen naar een nabijgelegen ontmoetingspunt. Deze tour is niet van toepassing op excursies aan wal.

A tour to discover the most volcanic side of the island. We had time to bathe in the hot springs, explore the Terra Nova botanical garden, eat the famous stew, visit the tea plantations, enjoy viewpoints, and much more. Our guide Enrique was very attentive.

Excellent tour. Beautiful scenery. Pedro our tour guide was wonderful- seamlessly switching between English and Spanish Lunch was delicious and SO much food!
Henrique from Azores Dream Tours went above and beyond for our family. We were with him all day and he made sure we enjoyed every minute of the excursion. Our young girls enjoyed listening to him. He found ways to engage them, and we saw the most gorgeous spots while also learning so much.
On November 8 and 9, 2024, we went on a tour of the island of São Miguel, guided by an excellent professional, Henrique Damião, an excellent communicator with a lot of knowledge about the entire history of the island as well as extreme care with all of us. São Miguel is beautiful island and you can see amazing places on this tour, you can also buy local tea in tea plantation and to see a lot of hydrangeas and other nice plants. Highly reccommended.
LOVED this tour. rafael was a fantastic tour guide and taught us so much about the land, the culture, and history. this was a more experience based tour, I would recommend doing it first. not as pretty sites as the west side of the island but well worth your time for the volcano, waterfall, lunch experience, and trip to the church on the hill
