Deze ervaring is ontworpen als een gedeelde kustexcursie voor cruisepassagiers, die een ontspannen en informatief overzicht biedt van de westkant van São Miguel. Wanneer uw schip aanmeert in de toeristische haven: Cruiseschepen leggen aan bij de cruiseterminal van Ponta Delgada, wanneer u het schip verlaat, passeert u de beveiligingskamer en bereikt u de terminalhal, hier verwelkomen onze lokale gidsen u met een bord met uw naam of een bord met AZORES DREAM TOURS Als we op dat moment meerdere cruiseschepen hebben: Slechts één schip kan tegelijkertijd aanmeren in de toeristische haven, in dit geval zullen de andere cruiseschepen aanmeren in de commerciële haven, u moet de shuttle uit de commerciële haven nemen en wij zullen bij de eerste afslag shuttle stop in de stad, met een bord met onze naam of een bord met AZORES DREAM TOURS

I wasn't expecting much from this excursion and, to be honest, my impression of the tours offered in Ponta Delgada weren't really interesting to me. I was so glad I took the plunge with this tour though. Our drive to Sete Cidades and the northern part of the island was breathtaking. We stopped at several viewpoints for pictures of the lakes and our tour guide offered to take some spectacular pictures of my family. My daughter especially loved feeding some ducks at the shore of Lagoa das Sete Cidades with some spare cat food the guide had. My favorite part was our visit to the Mosteiros Islets, something I've only seen in pictures and, combined with the area's cliffs and black volcanic sand beaches, made this booking well worth it. To top off all the gorgeous scenery we visited, our tour guide was very knowledgable of the areas and provided insight into all sorts of questions we had. He also knew there would be other tours visiting the areas we went to and adjusted our itinerary so that there were either very few people or no one else but us in the areas we visited. It really made our tour feel personal and curated just for us.

This tour allowed us to see almost all of the Azores. It encompassed the beautiful blue and green lakes at Seta Cidades then we travelled to a tea plantation where we tasted tea. Our next stop was the Botanical Garden that boast 10,000 plants finally our visit to for now allowed us to see the steam escaping from fissures ‘s in the Earth along with the bubbling clay Along the way we saw beautiful green landscape areas and the rocky coastline. Our guide, Henry was knowledgeable and thorough. He could answer questions on a variety of topics. Don’t miss this tour.

Was a great tour. 2 people were late so would encourage fellow travelers to try to be on time. Other 20 of us on time and were delayed. Loved Vera and Paola the driver. Kudos to Paola and her driver abilities.

Highly dependent on weather. Would only recommend if the weather is clear. But that said, the guide was boring and uninteresting.
