Dit is het meest iconische gebouw in het paleis, vaak aangeduid als het "Koninklijk Paviljoen." Gebouwd in Thaise stijl, staat het prachtig in het midden van een serene vijver. Reizigers zullen het grootse bouwwerk bewonderen, dat ooit diende als koninklijk toevluchtsoord. Bezoekers kunnen foto's maken, rondlopen in de omgeving en genieten van het rustige landschap dat de sfeer van royalty's verbetert.
De torenhoge chedi (stoepa) bij Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon is een ander opvallend kenmerk van de tempel. Met een hoogte van 62 meter is het een van de hoogste bouwwerken in de Ayutthaya-ruïnes. De chedi is bedekt met gouden stof en heeft een ronde basis die leidt naar een grote, conische spits. Bezoekers kunnen de trap naar de top van de chedi beklimmen om te genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht over de omgeving, waaronder andere tempelruïnes en het weelderige groen van de regio.
Iconische Boeddha hoofd: Het beroemde Boeddhahoofd verstrengeld in boomwortels is een van de meest gefotografeerde en symbolische kenmerken van de tempel, die het verstrijken van de tijd en de natuur vertegenwoordigt die menselijke creaties terugwinnen.

- Neem een sarong, sjaal of trui mee om je te bedekken of draag kleding die past bij de dresscode
- Gelieve op de dag van de reis te worden geïnformeerd als u de starttijd van de tour wilt wijzigen, zal er een toeslag van 650 THB zijn. Als u de reisdatum wilt wijzigen, wordt er een toeslag van 500 THB. in rekening gebracht met personeel aan de balie.

We had Bamboo as our tour guide and he was amazing he explained everything in detail and answered any questions we had. He also reminded us to drink our water and informed us the historical sites had free umbrellas we could use. We will definitely be booking with him again :)

Good experience with tour guide Bamboo, he was very informative about the history of Ayutthaya. Weather was nice and clear, sun was hot. But there was maybe coffeeshop to get cold drinks.
