Ayutthaya Sunset Boat & UNESCO-tempels: meertalige privétour vanuit Bangkok

The afternoon visit to Ayutthaya Historical Park was truly superb. We greatly appreciated the Mahathat, Lokaya, Na Phra Meru temples, and the Portal of Time Temple, each with its own unique history and atmosphere. This afternoon tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Thailand. The historical sites of Ayutthaya are absolutely breathtaking, and each location has its own unique story and atmosphere. The famous Wat Mahathat with the Buddha head entwined in tree roots was incredible to see in person. Wat Lokayasutharam and its impressive Reclining Buddha were equally memorable, while Wat Na Phra Meru offered a fascinating glimpse into Ayutthaya’s rich past. The Portal of Time Temple was another beautiful and unique stop that made the experience even more special. A special thank you to our guide Lin, who made the entire tour unforgettable. She is extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and always happy to answer questions. Her explanations brought the history of these ancient temples to life, and her warm personality and positive energy made the day even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Thailand. Thank you, Lin and Kevin for such a wonderful experience!

We had a truly unforgettable day in Ayutthaya and so much of that was thanks to our guide and driver, who were exceptional from start to finish. More than just taking us from place to place, he guided us through stories. Every temple, every ruin, every detail came to life through his deep knowledge, always shared in a light, engaging, and fascinating way. It felt like traveling back in time, understanding not only what we were seeing, but the meaning behind it all. On top of that, his care throughout the day made all the difference. He was always attentive to our pace, our needs, and even the smallest details, cold water, well, timed breaks, spot-on suggestions all delivered with patience and genuine kindness that made the experience even more special. The combination of knowledge, attention, and a true desire to create the best possible experience turned a simple tour into something memorable. A magnificent discovery of Ayutthaya thanks to Kwin, a professional and passionate guide. The visit was made on foot between the different temples, in a very pleasant rhythm. We also had lunch in a very typical restaurant, excellent. Our driver was always present and attentive, with water at every stop. The tour ended beautifully with a boat trip, offering a superb view of the temples at sunset ☀️

As far as the tour is concerned it was good. We paid for a private tour, but it was disappointing that the company wanted to penny pinch on the lunch. The positives: - Good tour guide - Flexible, but then again, it was a private tour. the negatives: - the vehicle provided was an old SUV which compared to other private tours felt a bit cramped. - the tour comes with a "complimentary" lunch which is at a restaurant of their choice. The budget that they had allocated per person ( 200 baht) covers only the cheapest meal ( 180 baht) and a water. Initially we weren't even given the choice to order what we wanted. Later when we said that we don't want the meal that they ordered, they agreed to allow us to choose with the condition that we pay for anything extra. Considering we had paid close to £240 ( almost 10,000 baht) for the tour, penny pinching for a few hundred baht just spoiled our experience.

Boombiim was so amazing she guided us through the temples and the history behind the stories and traditions of Bangkok. She helped us navigate Bangkok and arranged another tour that catered to all the things and places we wanted to explore. Her attention to our needs was outstanding. This tour is a must and if you want an experience that you will not regret book this tour and ask for Boombiim. We also need to shout out to the driver he was also outstanding. It was 33 degrees and he was ready with water and cold cloth when we got back to the car.

Highly recommend this experience. The temples were beautiful. The lunch was delicious. Ice was the best guide. He even bought us some local treats which were delicious. We booked a tour with him for the next day too and can’t wait.
