This was brilliant. We found the bakery easily, arrived and had pastries and coffee as part of the ticket. Our guide David was fantastic, knowledgeable, fun, great with the kids and we learnt a lot about how the French make their pastries and bread stop we made delicious sourdough baguettes and croissants and some little cakes. Fascinating insight into a big part of French culture it is. We all thoroughly enjoyed it including 16 and 12-year-old, and would definitely recommend this has something fun to do for a couple of hours. The only downside was it was the heat wave and it was so so hot, but we still had a brilliant time!
We went as a family of 4 to the bakery experience. Maria was fabulous. Our kids had a wonderful time. This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Paris. Great way to break up visiting museums and sightseeing. Would highly recommend this for a family experience.
What a fabulous experience! Our host was so personable and knowledgeable. We learned about baguettes, croissants and financiers the fun and relaxed atmosphere of the bakery. and we got samples of our work to enjoy!
Lovely friendly guide, we started with a nice breakfast and then a tour of the bakery which was not as hot as I thought it would be in the middle of a heatwave! Made our baguettes and then some croissants and financiers while we waited for the bread to bake. Very enjoyable and feel inspired to go home to bake bread and croissants! Note that the dough is already pre-made due to time restraints so the 'making' is the rolling out and shaping.

My family did this on a Sunday when many things are closed and my 11 year old son said it was one of the most fun things we did on the trip. Our guide was superb and made the whole experience fun. We made authentic baguettes, French cake bites, and croissants. We had so much to take home with us! Oh, and then our guide showed us the BEST cheese shop in all of Paris! Because what goes better with baguette than amazing cheese! I’d highly recommend this experience for families or a group of friends.
So much fun and our guide was great!
The location of our class was changed the night before our event with no offer to cancel. We had expressly booked it because of its location in the Marais and had other plans nearby afterwards. Instead, we found ourselves in a rather dodgy part of the city a mile and a half walk in the blistering heat back to the Marais. Class itself was fine but relatively remedial.
Amazing experience to actually bake in a real patisserie in Paris! Maria was very friendly and a great instructor. We did with our 5 year old daughter and she loved it.
Our guide Nina was fantastic. Very sweet and thoughtful with kids. Overall experience meh though, change of venue the night before, our family of four received 3 pastries before “class”, just like the other party of two with us. We asked for one more croissant for the two kids and were told no we could buy it. Probably would skip this experience and go to multiple cafes for a fraction of the cost. Overall “baking” was a baguette by rolling it, rolling croissants which based on overall time we didn’t get to try or take back with us and making some cookies. By no means do you “learn” to bake.
