Avontuur 2 Irmãos en Favela do Vidigal

Onze missie is om de top van de hoogste berg in Vidigal, de grootste broer onder de Dois Irmãos, te bereiken. We hebben een groot deel van de route te voet beklommen door het echte labyrint dat de Vidigal-favela is, wat zonder twijfel de meest meeslepende en cultureel schokkende manier is om het te doen. We krijgen een idee van hoe het dagelijkse leven van de bewoners eruit ziet, ontdekken bars, parken en typisch Braziliaans straatvoedsel. Het zal dus een andere ervaring zijn dan de meeste toeristen in Rio de Janeiro. Aangekomen bij de ingang van het pad is het nog 50 minuten klimmen, nu midden in de natuur en met verschillende uitkijkpunten die prachtige uitzichten bieden over de stad, de zee, de stranden en de bossen, naast het hebben van een echte hut met uitzicht van Rocinha (grootste favela in Latijns-Amerika). Wanneer je de top bereikt, is het uitzicht gewoonweg filmisch. Ook de terugweg is een spannend motoravontuur met goede snelheid door de steegjes. We staken de favela te voet over en bezochten bars, hostels, pleinen, scholen en uitkijkpunten.
50 minuten onderweg naar de top van de grotere broer, we bevinden ons op 539 meter hoogte. We genoten onderweg van de landschappen en maakten van de gelegenheid gebruik om de sociale, antropologische en ecologische kwesties om ons heen te bespreken.
We gaan een van de bars bezoeken met het mooiste uitzicht van Rio de Janeiro en de muziek is bijna altijd goed. We bespraken het dagelijks leven en de lokale cultuur.

First you go up to the trail with motorbikes, then you do the trail. It is a bit difficult, but not the hardest to do. Awesome view. Then go back to beginning of the trail and a walk down through the Favela. There is another stop with a great view on the way. We liked the tour ver much. Thank you, Jessie.
All good the experience. Very good vibes, Deivid. Nose climbing requires a certain physical condition to take into account the one I hired. But if they go up slowly it's complicated.
Amazing views of the city, a very unique experience walking up the favela and then onto the mountain trail. I would deffinatly recommend this trip for someone who likes to hike. My guide Raphael was such a great guy, who was very knowledgeable and easy to get along with. Thanks again Raphael.

This was the second I did with aventurismo because I enjoyed the sugarloaf mountain one so much! Seeing and learning about the favela was so interesting and the view from the top of the two brothers was incredible! Fun day out highly recommend!
I am thrilled with the guide and the tour. Everything was very intense, we looked at life in the favelas, climbed the mountain, and took great photos, the guide was always supportive when it was difficult for me, so he is also a philosopher and psychologist in one person! After we tried street food, in general I was definitely satisfied! Recommended!
A beautiful and accessible hike in Rio. Rafael is super knowledgable about the area and will even bring you down paths less trodden if you're up for it.

My friends and I took a sunrise walk with Rafael to the two brothers and through Vidigal. Rafael explained a lot during the tour. We felt safe at all times. In addition to the view, the breakfast at the bakery was incredible.
