Kom op ski's de magische sfeer van het besneeuwde bos 's nachts beleven, een besneeuwd landschap dat soms verlicht wordt door het maanlicht, door de sterren of misschien door het noorderlicht (aurora)! We houden een pauze in een kota, een traditionele lappish tent, waar we op rendierhuiden voor het vuur zitten en een worstje grillen. De kleine groep (max. 5 klanten) zorgt ervoor dat de gids goed voor elke deelnemer kan zorgen en dat de rustige sfeer van de natuur niet verloren gaat. De tocht vindt plaats in een afgelegen gebied buiten de gemarkeerde paden, dus u zult een gevoel van wildernis kunnen ervaren. De kota-tent is privé, wat betekent dat we geen andere groepen tegenkomen en rust in de natuur gegarandeerd is! Begeleiding door een gecertificeerde wildernisgids. Er is geen eerdere ski-ervaring nodig, want ski's zijn gemakkelijk te gebruiken en het terrein is grotendeels vlak.

Sluit je aan bij onze kleine groep (max. 4 personen) en beleef op ski's de magische sfeer van het besneeuwde bos 's nachts, een besneeuwd landschap dat soms verlicht wordt door het maanlicht, door de sterren of misschien door het noorderlicht (aurora)! Soms (bewolkt weer, nieuwe maan) zal het donkerder om ons heen zijn en zien we alleen in de ventilator van onze koplamp, de rest blijft onbekend...Het besneeuwde bos 's nachts heeft zijn charme bij elk weer! De tochten vinden plaats in een afgelegen gebied, 30 minuten. weg van Rovaniemi, ver van steden en gemarkeerde paden; eerst bespreken we de basistechnieken van trekking-ski's; dan beginnen we te skiën door besneeuwde bossen en bevroren moerassen richting de kota, traditionele lappische tent. De kota zal ons basiskamp zijn; we steken er een vuur in aan, grillen een hapje en ontspannen terwijl we op rendierhuiden zitten. Gedurende de hele tocht controleren we de lucht op zoek naar sterren en het noorderlicht. Als je je camera meeneemt, help ik je deze in te stellen zodat je mooie foto's van het noorderlicht kunt maken.
de duur van de hele tour is 5 uur, maar de duur van de daadwerkelijke trekking is 3 uur. De resterende 2 uur is bedoeld voor ophalen/afzetten, aankleden met overall en winterlaarzen en naar het startpunt van de trekking rijden en terug

Ik kan je ophalen bij je accommodatie of op een gewenste plek, als je in het stadscentrum verblijft of binnen 8 km (ongeveer 10 minuten) ervan, anders haal ik je op bij het ontmoetingspunt. Ik heb een grijze Volvo met een zwarte skibox op het dak

If you come to Rovaniemi/Lappland I can only recommend you this tour !! It was such a great experience and so much fun. Giacomo is a very nice and kind guide. We walked through the forest at night and I felt completely safe with him. During the walk through the woods we took short breaks and he explained about the things we saw around us. The food we got was also excellent (the vegetarian as well as the traditional Finnish sausages) and sitting in the tent by the fire was also a beautiful experience. We were provided with proper boots, headlamps and the skis. We would’ve gotten overalls but we were already wearing skiing clothes. Thank you very much Giacomo.
We had an absolutely stunning experience skiing through the forest at night. Even in snowy weather, we enjoyed the trip a lot. I can only imagine how incredible it could be with a clear sky or auroras. Suitable for all experience levels thanks to the good instructions from our guide Giacomo.
This tour was absolutely great! A real experience we will never forget. The beautifull scenery combined with the cross countrie ski experience was amazing. The grilling on the fire in the hut was a nice touch as well. We are not outdoor people and we've never skied. But we had so much fun. My 9 year old son dropped 16 times but still tought it was great. He really had a good time. The host Giacomo was so nice. He knew a lot about the animals and showed us animal tracks. He took a few photo's for us. We completely forgot to do this, because we were in the experience. We even were lucky enough to see the northern light. We couldn't find a lot of reviews online, so that's why I chose to write this review. I hope this helps you! Just book it, you won't regret this.
Well cared for and clear simple instructions. Those wanting a guide to take you off trail into a forest of deep snow….Giacomo gives you an authentic experience with challenge to suit needs!
The trip is wonderful, all thanks to our guide Giacomo. He’s accommodating and super supportive. We only skied half-way to the cottage and went back since we’re anxious being in the forest at night. Even so, he’s happy to go back. We even go northern lights hunting afterwards since there’s still time in the tour. Even though it wasn’t as planned, the trip is amazing.
Absolutely epic night ski adventure in Rovaniemi's snowy woods! Huge props to Jack for guiding us through this magical winter wonderland. His skiing tips were spot-on, and the laid-back BBQ at the rest stop was just the perfect touch. Skiing through a forest blanketed in snow for the first time was an out-of-this-world experience. An absolute must try experience in Rovaniemi. Giacomo is an amazing guide whose passion for his craft reflects in this tour. And if you’re lucky unlike me and you get the Aurora lights it’s an icing on the cake. Highly recommended 👍
