Avond van wijn en schilderachtige uitzichten in Skiathos

Stunning views, knowledgeable host, wine and snack good. Tables set to mix with other guests

Lovely place with lovely atmosphere. The atmosphere around the tables became very good afterwards. We met many festive people from different countries.

Well organised wine tasting visit to Parissis Winery, booked through TripAdvisor, including transport from the main road by our hotel (near bus stop 22) and back again. The road up to the Winery was pretty steep and difficult to drive, so the included transport was a massive bonus, especially as our driver had a sense of humour about the drive. Once at the Winery, we were given a short tour, which was very informative and interesting, then enjoyed the wine tasting itself, accompanied by some lovely bread, cheese, meat, olives & fruit. The only negative (and I'm nit-picking here) is that this experience was advertised as a group of 14 maximum, but there were actually 18 of us, brought by 2 separate mini buses. We were lucky to share our table with 4 other really fun people, so we had a great evening. The wine tasting (5 wines in total) was unhurried, and the view from the Winery was beautiful.

Excellent evening of wine tasting and eating tasty treats with great company, the host was very informative and the wine was good.

Transfer was punctual. Total trip was around 4 hours. Great guided tour of wine making process by enthusiastic staff. Wonderful setting and views. Lovely wines and food.

The bus was late picking us up, leaving us stranded on the side of the road for 30min in full sunlight, slightly fried we got on the bus to discover the air conditioning was not working. The bus didn’t seem suitable for the roads to the winery but we did make it. The winery is lovely and the views are beautiful, we had a lovely experience with a great group of people. But the tour was bigger than the advertised 14 people, with a group of 24. We enjoyed the wine and food, this part was great. The bus journey home was terrible, the bus couldn’t make it up the hill and after two attempts we had to get out and walk up, meeting it at the top. The winery is great and well worth a visit but pick your transport carefully.

This one of those excursions were the people around the table really made the evening. We were picked up from bus stop 4 due too the location of our hotel , the main roads were ok , but once going into the mountains the roads become a bit rough ( not bad for us as we experienced the African safari back massage in January ) so possibly if you can sit towards the front . Once at the winery it is an amazing location with a really great view , the guide then gave us a tour of the vineyard then into their processing area explaining all equipment used ( I did find this interesting ). The wine we were given Six taster wines as I didn't take notes and a bad memory I cannot recall the names , if you enjoy the wine you can buy bottles , again enjoyed the wine and the food platter that was put out for all of us , the company around the table was brilliant and the staff at the winery were excellent , when I come back to Skiathos would I do again ,YES.
