Een ideale tour voor de ontdekkingsreizigers van het culturele en natuurlijke erfgoed van Mykonos. Een leuke en informatieve fietservaring, met een fascinerende mix tussen onze religieuze traditie, gemakkelijk off-road rijden, een ongerept strand en de landelijke en wilde landschappen van het eiland. - We ontmoeten elkaar bij onze biologische wijngaard “Mykonos Vioma Organic Farm”. - Wij zijn lokale gidsen, het delen van onze liefde voor Mykonos met onze gasten. - Een tutorial over het gebruik van mountainbikes zal worden aangeboden. - De route is 15km, ideaal voor gemiddelde of frequente rijders die vertrouwd zijn met stadsfietsen en met moeilijkheidsgraad 3/5. - We stoppen op verschillende plekken voor een interpretatief gesprek over onze lokale tradities. - In het dorp Ano Mera rusten we uit, verfrissen we met limonade en een snack en geven we u vrije tijd om het klooster te bezoeken. - Op het strand van Fokos hebben we tijd om te zwemmen & onderwater fotoshooten (als het weer het toelaat) OF wandelen. - Onze terugrit duurt slechts 30 minuten en dan kunt u ontspannen in de rustgevende sfeer van onze wijngaard.

Het klooster van Maagd Maria Tourliani zal indruk op u maken met zijn rijk versierde iconostase en zijn kleine maar interessante museum (u krijgt vrije tijd om te bezoeken en te bewonderen).
Op het centrale plein van het dorp Ano Mera kunnen we een korte rust nemen en verfrissen met zelfgemaakte biologische limonade en een traditioneel Mykonisch dessert.
Op het strand van Fokos worden we verwelkomd door het kristalheldere water van de Egeïsche Zee en het betoverende uitzicht op de "Kissing Rocks". Als het weer het toelaat, zullen we genieten van een heerlijke duik en onderwater fotoshoots, anders biedt de zachte wandeling boven de baai ons een adembenemend uitzicht.
De fietstocht eindigt bij de historische en biodynamische wijngaard van Maou, waar u de wijnen en culinaire schatten van Mykonos kunt verkennen (à la carte, niet inbegrepen in de prijs van de fietstocht) en interactie kunt hebben met de vriendelijke huisdieren van de boerderij (ezel, schapen, geiten, kippen, pauwen, honden en katten).

Great bike ride and we learned so much about Mykonos history and culture. Demi is the perfect bike guide and her love for her island and its people is strong and inspirational.
It was a wonderful experience peddling on Mykonos with Dimitra! She was above and beyond a great tour guide teaching us all about life on the island and showing us a local village, family church and a beautiful unspoiled beach area. We had e-bikes which made it more enjoyable. After the ride we had a light lunch at her family farm which was delicious, fresh and home grown. I highly recommend!
We LOVED this experience. We were a little unsure about whether we were equipped for the bike ride, but our guide was patient and kind. Dimitris explained a great deal about the island, its history, and Greek culture. This made the remainder of our trip more enjoyable. Because you can't easily get around the island without a car, the tour let us see a whole different part we wouldn't have seen otherwise. The secluded beach was amazing - the best view of the blue Agean Sea.
Dimitris was our tour guide and he was fantastic. It was our first time biking in Europe and Dimitris constantly made sure that we were okay throughout the tour. Highly recommend upgrading to e-bikes as there are a few hills that a newbie like me struggled with.
Our personalized bike tour of Mykonos was absolutely unforgettable! Dimi was an incredible guide — gracious, knowledgeable, and so much fun to spend the day with. She went above and beyond, even taking great photos of us throughout the ride and underwater while we swam in the Aegean Sea! We liked how she showed us personal pictures of Greek celebrations that she participated in. The scenery was breathtaking, the bikes were in great condition, and Dimi made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to explore the island. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mykonos!
Dimitra (our tour guide for the trip) and Dimitris could not have been nicer! We absolutely loved our “Picnic at the Beach Bike Tour.” The tour starts and ends at the Mykonos Vioma Organic Farm so we even stayed for some "yummy" wine tasting after the tour. The lunch prepared for the beach was awesome … true, authentic Greek food that was very well prepared and so tasty. Dimitra was a wealth of information and provided so much history when we stopped at a small church along the route. While my husband is an experienced bike rider, I’m a casual rider (at best), but they really took the time before the bike ride started to make sure we were familiar with the bikes. I felt very comfortable riding around Mykonos. And Dimitra takes amazing photos throughout the ride. If you are thinking about joining them for a hiking tour or bicycle tour, just do it! You will not be disappointed!
What a great experience away from all of the tourists and the cruise port. Other than one relatively short hill on the way back the biking was as easy as advertised. Dimitria (I hope I spelled her name correctly) took great care of everyone making sure to include us all in the conversation, she obviously cares about everyone having a great time. We were able to swim at a small local beach with very few people and beautiful water. My wife ride an e-bike and loved the experience. I'd highly recommend this to anyone. Our driver even dropped us off in the village of Oia at the end of the tour and we had plenty of time to visit this great town overlooking the sea.
We had so much fun! The bike ride was uncomfortable but, Overall the experience was amazing, the beach was beautiful and the mini hike was super pretty! Also I loved how there was digital cameras so that there could be fun pictures from our trips to have awesome memories. Also the food was so delicious!
We had an amazing experience with Dino- the ride was rigorous, she taught us so much about Mykonos, and we had a great tour of the monastery and a great dip in the beach. She took pictures throughout!
