Bezoek het grootste voormalige concentratiekamp van de nazi's tijdens een 7-uur durende tour vanuit Krakau. Leer meer over het nazi-programma van "Abreit Macht Frei" en de genocide van de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Verken de gaskamers en kazernes met een Engels sprekende Gids van het Staatsmuseum Auschwitz Birkenau. De live Gids is in het Engels. Andere taalopties alleen beschikbaar met de Gids. Op bepaalde dagen, vanwege het grote aantal boekingen, vooral die op het laatste moment, behoud ik me het recht voor om een Engels sprekende Gids van het Auschwitz Birkenau Museum te vervangen door een Gids in een andere beschikbare taal. Als gedeeltelijke compensatie kopen wij op die dag Engels Gids en lunchboxen voor u in. In de officiële voorschriften van het Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum is geen leeftijdsbeperking vastgelegd; gezien de omvang van de wreedheden die in het kamp hebben plaatsgevonden, raden we echter bezoeken voor kinderen onder de 14 jaar af.

Opgericht op 27 april 1940 werd Auschwitz de plaats van uitroeiing door onmenselijke omstandigheden en fysieke vernietiging van gevangenen. Het was het grootste vernietigingskamp van het naziregime en tijdens uw tour neemt een gediplomeerde Gids u gevoelig mee naar de prikkeldraadhekken, uitkijktorens, barakken, galgen en gaskamers; deze geven de omstandigheden weer waaronder de nazi-genocide plaatsvond.

Birkenau - vestigen als een tweede kamp na Auschwitz. Is 10 keer groter en de nazi's hebben hier zelfs 40 duizend mensen gedood op één dag!

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Wij halen u op van elk adres in Krakau. Meestal gebruiken we 8 pax minivans. Op bepaalde dagen behouden wij ons het recht voor om de minivan te vervangen door een grotere auto en om een ontmoetingspunt te regelen in plaats van een hotel pick-up. Dit komt door het grote aantal boekingen, het aantal van onze auto's is beperkt, tegelijkertijd willen we ervoor zorgen dat iedereen kan boeken. Ophaaltijd is mogelijk tussen 06:00 - 13:30 uur. Uw voorkeurstijd is niet gegarandeerd. Je wordt een dag voor de tour per WhatsApp/e-mail of sms geïnformeerd over de exacte tijd. Heel belangrijk : Vanwege de groeiende belangstelling voor reserveringen bij het Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum willen wij u aanmoedigen om zo vroeg mogelijk te reserveren. Dit om 100% een bezoek te garanderen op een geschikt moment met een Engels sprekende Gids. Hiervoor hebben wij uw voor- en achternamen minimaal een maand voor het bezoek nodig. Boekingen gemaakt minder dan maand worden al gerouteerd als last minute. LET OP; Wij vragen om uw begrip, deze regelgeving is niet onze ideeën. Het zijn de voorschriften van het Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum waaraan we ons moeten aanpassen.

We booked a tour to Auschwitz/Birkenau on 08/08/26 for 110 EUR p.p. (with a professional, advanced art historian). We previously received consultation by phone and pointed out several times that we absolutely needed a tour with a German-speaking guide. This was a main premise for us, which was confirmed several times by the lady in customer service. The confirmation via email then stated "Deutsc - Text". We did not attach any special meaning to the word "Text" at first, but rather trusted the verbal confirmations from the lady. But that was a mistake, because we found out on-site, the day before at 6:00 PM with the notification of the specific pickup time of 6:10 AM, that it is an English tour. We would have liked to cancel, but this is only possible 24 hours before the start of the trip. So that point in time had passed. So we started this trip after all. The driver was not a tour guide, because he did not say a word, but instead listened to the radio during the drive. Arriving in Auschwitz, the tour was conducted at a high pace. Reflecting or feeling was hardly possible there. Especially since we only partially understood the guide (the art historian) and also did not have any text material in German in our hands. Before the start of the tour in Birkenau, we received a German text - a booklet that describes a tour. However, reading it during the tour was hardly possible, since the pace was just as it was in Auschwitz I. This is only feasible if one arrives as an individual tourist. Several phone calls with VIATOR customer service, in which we complained about the consulting error made by customer service before booking and also pointed out the call recording from 08/08, were fruitless regarding a partial refund. The request to be connected to an employee with decision-making authority was unsuccessful; an announced callback did not occur. Our impression of the visit itself: it is good that many people are interested in this place and the crimes. However, this also leads to "mass tourism" with the corresponding negative aspects. Thus, the tours are also poorly suited for "facing" these crimes; they are very rational tours. Individual visits are preferable, although they must be booked very early.
Very reliable organization. Clear communication in advance, picked up at the agreed time and place (our hotel), Mikalj (oh, I forgot his name, I am so sorry!) is a resonsable driver and a friendly guy. Comfortable minibus. Lunch boxes available, well 'stuffed' this a reasonable private (€ 50)

Cancelled our tour at 3pm the day before leaving us with no option to book with another or to arrange our own transport. We’d book via our hotel two months im advance and had an email confirmation.
We really apologise for inconvience. The Museum cancell ur guide, we tried to find solution but it was too late.

Very comfortable tour to both the camps, guide was really knowledgeable. Oleek is really very helpful. The tour starts from the hotel and ends at the hotel. Overall it was a excellent experience for me and my friend. I recommend this trip. It costs 400 zt and visit is of 3 hours
