Onze chauffeur haalt u 's ochtends op bij uw hotel, appartement. Vervoer in een comfortabele minibus of minibus (vervoer met andere) met een vriendelijke Engels sprekende chauffeur. Bij aankomst in Auschwitz-Birkenau kunt u deelnemen aan een Engelstalige rondleiding door het Auschwitz-museum. Gebruik tijdens de rondleiding een koptelefoon om de museumtentoonstelling, kazernes en lange rijen gaskamerschoorstenen te verkennen. Een groot deel van het concentratiekamp is onveranderd gebleven sinds de bevrijding, en het biedt een levendig beeld van de genocide in oorlogstijd door Duitse nazi's. Wij zorgen voor vervoer tussen Auschwitz en Birkenau, evenals een korte pauze voor de rondleiding en tussen de kampen ongeveer 10-15 minuten. Na de rondleiding door Auschwitz-Birkenau, begint de terugreis naar Krakau, waar deze excursie eindigt met drop-off in uw hotel. Duur: 3 uur De Engelstalige rondleiding in Auschwitz wordt verzorgd door een museum en duurt ongeveer 2 uur en een uur in Birkenau.

We halen je op bij je hotel, appartement in Krakau. De weg van Krakau naar Auschwitz duurt ongeveer een uur en vijftien minuten per enkele reis. Je neemt deel aan de tour met een lokale gids die door het museum wordt verstrekt.
Opgericht door de nazi's in 1940 in de buitenwijken van Oswiecim, het concentratiekamp Auschwitz-Birkenau. Is een symbool terreur, genocide en holocaust over de hele wereld geworden. Auschwitz was het grootste nazi-concentratiekamp uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, waar ongeveer een half miljoen mensen uit 28 landen, waarvan bijna een miljoen joden, omkwamen. Het wordt beschouwd als de grootste begraafplaats ter wereld. Veel gebouwen getuigen van de werking van een enorm concentratiekamp en de omvang van de genocide door de nazi's: gaskamers en crematoria, de Death Wall, de spoorweghelling, massagraven, kazernes en blokken van gevangenen, mijlen van prikkeldraadomheining en wachttorens . In 1947, kort na de oorlog werd een staatsmuseum opgericht in het concentratiekamp Auschwitz-Birkenau (het stond op de lijst van UNESCO-sites in 1979). Na beide kampen te hebben bezocht, brengt de chauffeur je terug naar Krakau of waar je maar wilt.

Geniet van handige hotel pick-up direct van uw accommodatie in Krakau tussen 06:00 en 07:30 uur. Uw exacte pick-up tijd zal worden bevestigd door bericht of sms 1–2 dagen voor de tour. Neem een geldig identiteitsbewijs, paspoort of creditcard mee, aangezien alle toegangskaarten voor Auschwitz-Birkenau gepersonaliseerd zijn en identiteitscontrole vereist kan zijn voordat u de herdenkingslocatie betreedt.

We booked this not as a day trip to enjoy and later enthuse about over a drink. But to remember those that suffered and died at the hands of the cruel Nazi regime. It was humbling, sad and if I’m honest, at times made me angry to the point that I actually smiled and took a picture of the gallows that Rudolph Höss was hung from. Anyway back to the review. We were greeted in the lobby of our hotel by Bartek who introduced himself to us and walked us to the bus. Once we got to Auschwitz he gave us time to go for a toilet break or a quick snack ( they provide an amazing packed lunch) before introducing us to our tour guide. She was also friendly if a bit nervous at first but guided us through the camp very professionally stopping every so often to answer any questions that members of our party asked. The tour was an eye opener. I’ve seen many documentaries but they don’t have the impact that hits you by being there. Those faces on the wall will live with me forever as will the execution wall. We then had another quick break before heading off for Birkenau. Once there we were given an explanation of what happened there and then asked to walk the Same walk the unsuspecting prisoners made to the gas chamber. As the weather was not on our side our guide sped things up but all in all it was well worth the money and I’d advise anyone going to Poland to pay it a visit. We also found out that we were our guides first tour group so that explained the nerves at the beginning. Thank you Krakow Unlocked, Thank you Bartek and thank you to our guide. This tour was worth every penny! We were picked up early at the door of our hotel. The driver provided a safe and smooth ride to our tour. He even provided extra umbrellas due to some rain that popped up. Our tour guide was very informative with multiple facts. Would highly recommend this tour!!

Can’t recommend this tour highly enough. Excellent communication regarding pick up time and location. Arrived to pick us up exactly at time specified directly outside our accommodation, and dropped us back off right outside accommodation after excursion. We were able to add packed lunch on (which was much needed due to timings of excursion with 10-15 minutes break in between) Tour guide was highly knowledgeable, and conducted a very emotive and personable tour.

Booked to be collected at one time (8am) and multiple messages getting earlier and earlier so ended up two hours earlier than originally scheduled. This seams to be a theme. Driver … “drove it like he stole it” with all passengers commented on hazardous driving in inclement weather. Although the guide was knowledgeable on facts and figures, felt rushed around each area in Auschwitz too large a group crammed into small areas at a time making visibility to displays poor at times so by the time you were trying to look at one , guide was heading to next area and already started commentary… There were people with disabilities who could not keep up with guide at multiple points making whole trip not very disability friendly. No chance to read any displayed informational fact boards in attempts to keep up with information. I feel like another trip there was needed to see what was missed. Auschwitz its self is very thought provoking and I feel it’s a place that everyone should visit.

We booked this tour and it was faultless from start to finish. our lovely driver collected us exactly where and when arranged. We were carefully driven in his lovely clean vehicle directly to Auschwitz where we met with our English speaking guide. Having read many other reviews of other tour providers, we were aprehensive about possible long queues, ridiculously early pick ups etc. but we had no issues what so ever. Highly recommend this provider, reasonably priced and provided the exact service we had hoped for. Thank you Slavo :)
We had arranged for a hotel pick-up and drop-off which went smoothly and the driver was on time. He assisted with our tickets and escorted us to our tour group. The tour itself is all very organised and runs like clockwork. The tour is obviously very sombre and enables you to put images to the horrific stories of that terrible time as well as providing other information that you would probably not have been aware of.
A must do experience! Our driver was very punctual, provided an exceptional service! Our guide gave us so much information. Felt the group was a little big was hard to keep up with the pace of movement while trying to take in the information. But it was a very educational experience and has to be done if visiting krakow. We opted for the packed lunch, which was well worth the money and a delicious sandwich! I would recommend using this particular service!
