Maak uw bezoek aan Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum zo eenvoudig mogelijk op deze 7-uur durende tour vanuit Krakau. Delen met andere mensen in een minibus met airconditioning door een erkende ervaren chauffeur, met een Engels sprekende Gids in het Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum inclusief audio-apparatuur, of privé vervoer Pick-up / drop-off bij het hotel, appartementen hostel in Krakau Stad.

Het hele evenement duurt ongeveer 7 uur. U wordt tussen 07:30 en 10:00 uur rechtstreeks opgehaald bij uw accommodatie (ophaaltijd wordt bevestigd). Vergadering zal plaatsvinden bij de receptie van een hotel of buiten in de buurt van een ingang van appartementen. Net na het verzamelen van alle deelnemers bereikt u Auschwitz in ongeveer 1 uur en 15 minuten.
Engelse Gids rondleiding in Auschwitz en Birkenau Museum wordt verzorgd door een erkende museumgids . (Hoofdtelefoons zijn inbegrepen) Een bezoek aan de kampen duurt ongeveer 3,5 uur en bestaat uit sightseeing van twee nazikampen & Auschwitz en Birkenau.
Na een korte pauze van maximaal 15 minuten na het eerste kampbezoek nemen we je mee naar het tweede deel van de tour – Birkenau (Auschwitz II), gelegen op slechts enkele minuten afstand. Dit was het grootste deel van het concentratie- en vernietigingscomplex van de nazi's, gecreëerd met de bedoeling de massale uitroeiing van Europese Joden uit te voeren. Uw Gids vervolgt de ontroerende tour door Brzezinka (Birkenau), gebouwd in 1941 in opdracht van Heinrich Himmler, commandant van de SS. Het kamp is ontworpen om tot 90.000 mensen gevangen te zetten onder gruwelijke en onmenselijke omstandigheden. Tijdens het bezoek leer je over de tragische verhalen van gevangenen, brutale selecties bij aankomst en onmenselijke medische experimenten uitgevoerd door nazi-artsen, waaronder Josef Mengele. De tour behandelt ook de bevrijding van Auschwitz door soldaten van het 60e Leger van het Eerste Oekraïense Front op 27 januari 1945 – een moment dat het einde betekende van onvoorstelbaar lijden voor de overgebleven gevangenen.
Na de tour wordt u terug naar Krakau gebracht. Hetzij naar uw accommodatie plaats of een andere bestemming in de stad.

Totally worthwhile place to visit. Guide wasn't great, didn't keep his group together, started his talks before some people arrived, lost several members at one time, seemed like he just wanted to get it over with.

Highly recommended. Pick up from the hotel was on time. Driver very pleasant and spoke excellent English, Vehicle was a minibus for 8 persons, clean and well maintained. Driver ensured we knew where to go and remained with us until we had cleared security. The actual guide was very knowledgeable and again spoke excellent English. We ordered the packed lunch option via the operator, note this has to be paid in cash to the driver as it is prepared and delivered by a third party. This was available at the conclusion of the Camp 1 tour. Freshly made and sufficient for hungry teenage boys. Communication before the trip was again excellent with Thomas. The pick up and drop off were excellent, the driver very helpful. Worth leaving Krakov at 6am to get ahead of the huge queues. The guide, we had, for the camps was excellent. A very well worthwhile trip that made us reflect and remember how we should learn from history.

This company lied about pickup time. Says between 7-10am but they picked us up at 6:15am. Otherwise the tour was carried out very professionally.

We also offered you the option of a full refund if the earlier pickup time was not suitable for you. However, you decided to proceed with the tour because there were no other tickets available elsewhere. From the moment we were collected from our hotel to being dropped off at the end, we had a fantastic experience. The staff were polite and well informed, and the day was well organised. For a little extra per person you can buy a packed lunch which we thought was worth the money.

The tour was great, but the van that we traveled with was too crowded. My husband and I had to sit up front t with the driver. I was in the middle and my legs were crammed against the gear shift. A short commute would have been okay, but our commute was almost an hour long.
