Als de poolnacht valt, begeef je je op besneeuwde paden ver van het stadslicht, omringd door stille bevroren bossen en open landschappen. Tijdens deze begeleide tour bezoekt u de plekken met uitgestrekte, heldere luchten - perfect om Aurora te bekijken. Als je geluk hebt, verschijnt het noorderlicht en schildert de hemel met groene, paarse of rode golven - een verbluffende beloning. Onderweg pauzeer je voor een warm drankje en lichte snacks, terwijl je geniet van de stilte en magie van het Noordpoolgebied. Of de lichten nu dansen of de sterren rustig schijnen, sneeuwscooteren door de ongerepte natuur tijdens het achtervolgen van de Aurora biedt een onvergetelijk, once-in-a-lifetime avontuur.

Ophaalservice is beschikbaar bij de vermelde locaties. Als uw hotel of locatie niet tussen de opstapplaatsen staat, neem dan contact met ons (de leverancier) of het platform op om de beschikbaarheid te controleren. U ontvangt uw ophaalpunt & tijd via Viator bericht. Het niet deelnemen aan de safari vanwege gemiste opstapplaats of tijd wordt niet terugbetaald.

- Een minimum van 2 volbetalende volwassenen is vereist om de tour te laten werken. Eén enkele reiziger kan lid worden van een bestaande groep.
- De bestuurder van een sneeuwscooter moet in het bezit zijn van een geldig rijbewijs. Gasten zonder geldig rijbewijs mogen als passagier achter een bestuurder of de Gids rijden, afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid en veiligheidsvoorwaarden.
- Op gedeelde sneeuwscooters delen twee gasten één sneeuwscooter en kunnen ze tijdens de pauze wisselen van auto. Voor groepen met een oneven aantal deelnemers zit de individuele reiziger achter de Gids of wordt hij, indien mogelijk, gekoppeld aan een andere individuele reiziger uit dezelfde groep. Als alternatief kunnen gasten ervoor kiezen om een solo-rijoptie te boeken, waarbij één persoon een sneeuwscooter bestuurt.
- De prijzen zijn per persoon en variëren afhankelijk van of je kiest voor een gedeelde sneeuwscooter (gedeeld met een andere deelnemer) of solo rijden (één persoon per sneeuwscooter).
- Bestuurders zijn verantwoordelijk voor eventuele schade aan de sneeuwscooter. Raadpleeg de vrijwaringsclausule voor alle details.
- Kinderen kleiner dan 140 cm reizen in een slee getrokken door de sneeuwscooter van de Gids. Om veiligheidsredenen raden we ten zeerste aan dat minstens één volwassene jonge kinderen in de slee begeleidt. Kinderen van meer dan 140 cm moeten als passagier op een sneeuwscooter achter de bestuurder / Gids zitten en worden tegen het volwassenentarief in rekening gebracht.
- Het noorderlicht is een natuurlijk en onvoorspelbaar fenomeen en waarnemingen kunnen niet worden gegarandeerd. Onze professionele ervaring en voorspellingstools helpen echter uw kansen om ze te zien te vergroten.
- Thermische overalls, laarzen, helmen en bivakmutsen zullen worden verstrekt. De totale duur is inclusief transfer, kledingwissel, rij- en veiligheidsinstructietijd.
- Pick-up service is inbegrepen bij geselecteerde locaties. Staat uw accommodatie er niet bij, neem dan contact met ons op om de beschikbaarheid te controleren.
- U ontvangt de definitieve verzameltijd en ontmoetingspunt na bevestiging. Het niet deelnemen aan de safari vanwege het missen van de verzameltijd of ontmoetingspunt komt niet in aanmerking voor restitutie.

I’m leaving an honest review because the experience didn’t match what was advertised. This tour is sold as “Searching Aurora with Snowmobile”, which strongly implies actual aurora chasing — meaning the guides should be monitoring and making decisions based on real conditions such as solar activity and local weather (things like the Kp-index, solar wind, Bz orientation, and cloud coverage). That did not happen. The reality is that the group went to a pre-designated spot, parked, and waited. There was no real “searching” involved, and honestly, that’s not what aurora hunting is. On top of that, the weather conditions that night were very poor — heavy clouds and snowfall — making the chances of seeing Northern Lights extremely low. In a case like that, the tour should either be cancelled/rescheduled or clearly repositioned as a snowmobile ride with an aurora possibility (not the main promise). We paid 150 EUR each, and the value just wasn’t there given the conditions and lack of actual chasing. That said, the snowmobile ride itself was fun, and being out in the forest at night was still a cool experience from an adventure perspective. Important note: I would not recommend this tour for young kids or anyone with back issues, because the trail is extremely bumpy and can be uncomfortable. Overall, my main suggestion is simple: rename the tour to reflect what it really is, so expectations match the experience.
the snowmobile experience was just magical, I remove 1 star because we didn’t see the aurora borealis, but it was still great there was a campfire etc
We absolutely loved the snowmobile activitie. All the instructions were clear and easy to follow. We would especially like to highlight Paula’s outstanding attention and kindness. She was always attentive, approachable, and made sure we were enjoying the experience at all times, which really made a difference. Overall, we would rate this experience 10/10 and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable snowmobile adventure.!!! Kind regards, Martin
My husband and I absolutely loved this experience. Huge thank you to Elise and Jesus for being fantastic guides and ensuring we were all safe and having fun. We didn’t see the Aurora (100% cloud cover) but it didn’t spoil the evening at all. Book it. You won’t be disappointed.
Earlier this year I joined snowmobile tour but didn’t have the chance to see the aurora yet. The snowmobile experience was super super great 10/10. The guide was friendly and supportive, definitely the best experience in Finland. I also came back in Oct to catch the aurora, and luckily, I got it. It's so magical and worth trying. I really want to come back early next year to enjoy snowmobile even more
We had a great time! No aurora since it was cloudy but Yuca did his best to get us into a prime spot. At one point the app was showing us in the red and best probability which I had never seen before! However clouds never passed but we still had an amazing time snowmobiling in the Artic Circle and stayed warm with the jumpsuits and gloves they provide. Yuca was an amazing guide, very friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend him and this experience
Snowmobiles ran well, the pathway we took was quite bumpy but the views were nice and sky was perfectly clear. Although no auroras were seen during the ride, it was a great way to spend the evening. Although, we got stuck behind someone who wasn't following the rules and the instructions had to keep informing him of rule breaks (he was riding color but trying to film, swerving around instead of staying in line, and slowing down randomly and speeding up a ton to catch up when we got behind).
We wanted to express our gratitude to Sunny Safari for an amazing experience snowmobiling to search for Northern Lights. Sami and Carlos were very friendly and helpful and did a great job in maximizing our time to spot the Northern Lights deep in the woods of Lapland. Highly recommend!
Very amazing experience the pick up is on time and really friendly guide jukka is amazing !!!! Instruction is clear , very good energy easy to understand guide to using snowmobile , plus very fun trail
Great evening we have a nice group, it’s was like -12 so definitely wear extra layers of clothes under the suits giving. We only seen like 30 seconds of the northern because of clouds but it was still amazing. Would love to do a day time tour also.
