Deze tour neemt je mee van kunstlicht naar een rustige, open plek aan de rand van een uitgestrekt, bevroren meer. Met een wijde horizon en heldere uitzichten biedt deze locatie een uitstekende kans om de noordelijke hemel te observeren, waar – als je geluk hebt – de Aurora Borealis boven kan beginnen te dansen. Hoewel de Aurora Borealis een natuurlijk fenomeen is, zal onze ervaren Gids de beste uitkijkplek selecteren op basis van de omstandigheden van die nacht om uw kansen te maximaliseren. Gedurende de avond zal uw Gids ook fascinerende feiten delen over de Aurora Borealis – hoe deze zich vormt, wanneer deze verschijnt en de wetenschap en legendes achter deze ongelooflijke weergave. Of de lucht nu kalm blijft of in kleur uitbarst, de sfeer blijft magisch. Terwijl u wacht, geniet u van de warmte van een gezellig kampvuur en geniet u van een warm drankje. Omgeven door frisse Arctische lucht en rustige stilte, vindt u een zeldzaam gevoel van rust dat uitnodigt tot een diepe verbinding met de natuur.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Pick-up service is beschikbaar bij de genoemde hotels. Ophaaltijden van verschillende hotels zijn altijd verschillend. Als uw hotel of locatie niet tussen de opstapplaatsen staat, neem dan contact met ons (de leverancier) of het platform op om de beschikbaarheid te controleren. U ontvangt uw ophaalpunt & tijd via Viator bericht. Het niet deelnemen aan de safari vanwege gemiste opstapplaats of tijd wordt niet terugbetaald. Als u opgehaald moet worden bij hotels, ontmoet de Gids dan op tijd bij uw hotelreceptie; als u opgehaald moet worden vanaf het verzamelpunt, vindt u de Gids op tijd bij ons kantoor beneden (Sunny Safari Office, Tähtikuja 1, 96930 Rovaniemi).

- Kleed u warm in geschikte winterkleding en wees voorbereid om tijd buiten door te brengen genietend van de poolnachtsfeer.
- De totale duur is inclusief transfertijd. Pick-up service is inbegrepen bij geselecteerde locaties. Staat uw accommodatie er niet bij, neem dan contact met ons op om de beschikbaarheid te controleren.
- U ontvangt de definitieve verzameltijd en ontmoetingspunt na bevestiging. Het niet deelnemen aan de safari vanwege het missen van de verzameltijd of ontmoetingspunt komt niet in aanmerking voor restitutie.

We experienced this trip as a family of 6. We booked it through Santa’s Village Info Tower and they were very helpful. On the day, a guide came to pick us up and took us to 1 spot. We were lucky and it was clear skies, the KP index was good and it was a dark place. We waited around for a while, then our guide found a faint line in the sky! We were lucky and the northern lights came out! We proceeded to the next spot where the lights were even brighter and the guide got some amazing pictures of us. He was very knowledgeable and had good English. Finally, we went into a little private (for the company) cabin where we had hot blueberry juice, sausages and marshmallows! Overall, a lovely experience and would recommend to others.
Our guide (paula) was super attentive, he was telling us curious things, even though we could not see the auroras because it was very cloudy, made us have a good experience. If I came back I would definitely book with her again. A charming Galician😜
We took the Aurora Borealis Trip in Lapland Lakeside by Sunny Safari and Andres Rojas was our guide. He picked us up from the hotel lobby punctually and drove us to two lakesides to hunt for the Northern Lights. He made sure that we were able to see the northern lights with our handphone cameras and took pictures of us with the northern light as a background with his camera. He is an experienced guide who knows the good places to view the northern lights. He provided good service and we had a campfire, barbeque hotdogs and hot drinks to keep warm while waiting for the northern lights. He made the trip very enjoyable and fruitful. We are thankful to have him as our guide.
We did this trip, and on another day, their ‘Top 3’ trip (which included huskies, reindeer and snowmobile). On both occasions we had a really great experience. The thing we really liked is the small groups- each mini van seats 8, so even though we met up with one other group at each place, it was still one tour guide to maximum of 8 passengers. This gave it a very personal touch. On the Northern Lights tour, it was very cold, and unfortunately we didn’t really get to see the lights, however it was still an interesting Finnish experience, being on the frozen lake, and in the hut, with the fire going. The Top 3 tour was so much fun, we enjoyed all 3 activities, and really can’t fault anything.

Very nice tour, we saw Aurora Borealis, it was cold but had no problem with it. Excellent guides, delicious sausage cooked on fire!
Worst tour, 200 euros and no chance for lights they should cancel, the driver was not Profesional and speed the van carrying 6 people crumbed, very bad
Lucky to be able to enjoy the auroras. The truth is that the place invites it! The hot cranberry juice and sausage they give you during the excursion puts the body back together from the cold.
This was amazing! Andres the tour guide knew exactly where to take us to have the chance to see the northern lights and we did! It's an incredible experience! We loved the attention, the information provided, everything was amazing. We strongly recommend this tour. Andres was on time to pick us up, explained the tour and then took us along the group to see the northern lights.
