Nadat je bent opgehaald bij je centrale hotel in Auckland, reis je door Queen St - de hoofdstraat van het stadscentrum en de thuisbasis van iconische gebouwen en een mix van winkels en CBD-kantoren
Ga verder door de pittoreske buitenwijk Ponsonby, bekend om zijn historische gebouwen, voordat u over de Harbour Bridge naar de North Shore gaat.

Hier kunt u wandelen over een prachtig wit zandstrand met uitzicht over de Waitemata-haven naar het eiland Rangitoto en waar er tijd is voor een kopje koffie (op eigen kosten).
Rangitoto Island is een vulkanisch eiland in de Golf van Hauraki, in de buurt van Auckland, Nieuw-Zeeland. Je zult Rangitoto zien vanuit vele uitkijkpunten tijdens deze tour.
Na een korte rit door het historische Devonport gaat u verder naar de top van Mount Victoria voor een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht op Auckland City en Devonport. Mount Victoria is de eigen slapende vulkaan van Devonport. Takarunga / Mount Victoria is de hoogste vulkaan aan de noordkust van Auckland en stijgt tot 87 m. Takarunga betekent 'De heuvel die boven staat' en de lavastromen staan nu langs een groot deel van de waterkant van Devonport
Reis vervolgens terug over de Harbour Bridge om Westhaven Marina te bekijken, een van de grootste jachthavens op het zuidelijk halfrond. Westhaven Marina in Auckland, Nieuw-Zeeland, is de grootste jachthaven op het zuidelijk halfrond. De jachthaven heeft bijna tweeduizend ligplaatsen en schommels en wordt vaak geboekt. Auckland, bekend als 'City of Sails', staat algemeen bekend om zijn maritieme passies
Waitemata Harbour is de echte naam voor wat vaak net Auckland Harbour wordt genoemd. Het betekent "bruisend water" in Maori, wat een zeer passende naam is.
Reis door Auckland Domain, het oudste park van Auckland en op 75 hectare een van de grootste in de stad. Gelegen in de centrale buitenwijk van Grafton, bevat het park de hele explosiekrater en het grootste deel van de omliggende tufsteenring van de Pukekawa-vulkaan. Dit park is de thuisbasis van het Auckland Museum en de prachtige Wintergardens

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ophalen is mogelijk bij de meeste accommodaties in de binnenstad van Auckland. Ophaalservice is tussen 8.30 en 9.00 uur. Je moet dit bevestigen bij Bush en Beach (er zijn meer vertreklocaties beschikbaar in de binnenstad van Auckland, die je tijdens het boeken kunt regelen). Voeg uw hotelgegevens toe tijdens het reserveren. De tour keert terug naar het oorspronkelijke vertrekpunt om ongeveer 12.15 uur.

Very fun tour of Auckland. Trips across the bridge, tops of hills with great views, top of the hill University, the harbor, and some of downtown. Driver was really good at pointing out how spots to explore and tourist traps to avoid. I would do this tour on my first day of Auckland as it was very informative for the tourist in Auckland for the first time.

Excellent tour for first-time travellers - sights, history. Jason was a good storyteller, knowledgeable, proud of his city, and possessed a good sense of humour that made the tour fun! He even gave tips on how to self-explore the city. I highly recommend the tour and Jason!
Wayne was our guide and it was a really great fun and informative trip - perfectly paced but also packed a huge amount into a morning visit - we saw places and things we would never have seen as we were only inAuckland for 2 days. Would 100% recommend and Wayne also gave plenty of laughs too and obviously knows everything about the city and has a real love for it too - Go!
If you are looking for quick overview of Auckland, it’s a great drive by tour. If you have mobility issues then this would be a grand tour. The guide was friendly, however to much about his personal life growing up in New Zealand around the Auckland area. I would like for him to slow down as much as possible when pointing historical or interest sites. Also, I would have heard more about the sites, history and point of interest. I know that to keep the tour interesting most guides tell jokes, his was a little overboard. The tour overall was okay
