Booked my experience direct with the operator and received a confirmation. Communicated with the business via WhatsApp about where to be for the tour. Upon arrival, the business was closed. When I contacted them via WhatsApp they said we did not have a tour that day. Wrong, I have a confirmation email. No urgency to make it right and send a guide or provide another tour at a discount. Communication was basically “sorry we got the booking date on our end”. How?? It’s literally in the confirmation.
ATV Tamarindo is the best! Our guide, Bryan, was fantastic; he gave us a good tutorial and test drive before embarking on the adventure to ensure our safety. We were a family of four, and had a late afternoon tour, which returned around sunset. It was absolutely beautiful!
A little rough start with payments and cards etc, but once the business side was done . What a blast !! We had 2 atv and 3 UTV for our tour. We went thru so much mud and water! Absolutely the best time with the guides.
Please be aware the person that works here has a terrible attitude and is projecting a narrative that you need to have a drivers license to ride atv. In addition, it’s okay to have a policy but it should not be listed on the last part of an “overview” if a driver’s license is necessary it should be in bold, in which it isn’t necessary if you have a wavier and are over 18. Then he refuses to give us a refund. Terrible customer service
Amazing!!! Our tour guide Alejandro was amazing and very nice! We had so much fun, we booked the 3 hour ATV tour which we highly recommend. We would definitely book again!!!
The problem I had was not the company itself but Viator. I was told it was a 2 hour experience and showed up to it only being 1 hour. Also it was booked for 11 and nobody was there and did not show up til 12. We were not told to bring DL so we had to walk all the way back 2 km to hotel rooms. Would never book through viator.
We had a great time. Did a quick test to make sure we could drive. My 14 year old son rode with me and 7 year old rode with my husband. We rode through the town of Tamarindo and out to a beautiful beach. The Pina Coladas were great there. Our tour guides were friendly and attentive. Exactly as advertised and great price for what you get. Would definitely recommend.
My 16yr old son and I really enjoyed the 60 minute guided tour around Tamarindo and area. The guide, Andy, was very good and took good care to ensure our safety while showing us many interesting local neighbourhoods. We would recommend the shorter tour to anyone that might be new to ATVs and would like to try them out. Might try a longer tour next time.
This tour is by Action Tours. Casey was lovely and let us go at a different time than booked. Really enjoyed our tour with Ronny. Had a lot of fun seeing Tamarindo. And it was nice that you can get the ATVs in town as opposed to driving somewhere. We will definitely do it again.
The staff was courteous and very informative, the experience was awesome would definitely recommend this ATV tour
