Fiets met een elektrische fiets veilig over fietspaden en door rustige buurten samen met onze ervaren reisleiders en bereik het geweldige Athene "Riviera". Bewonder het adembenemende uitzicht op de Saronische Golf en de prachtige Riviera van Athene terwijl u langs de waterkant fietst en geniet van de zeebries! Vergeet in de zomer en/of bij mooi weer niet je zwemkleding mee te nemen, want zwemmen op een van de heerlijke stranden van Athene is een must!

Fiets door de meest pittoreske wijk van Athene Plaka, een geweldige manier om te starten met een tour naar de kust.
Onze eerste kleine stop is bij een prachtige locatie met uitzicht op de ruïnes van de Romeinse Agora van Athene. We zien monumenten, zoals de Toren van de Wind, die wordt beschouwd als 's werelds eerste meteorologische station, de Poort van Athene Archegetis en de Fetiye Moskee.
Bewonder de Toren van de Winden. Dit spectaculaire achthoekige gebouw was een weerstation in de Romeinse tijd.
Terwijl u geniet van de gebouwen van de Romeinse Agora, kunt u ook de indrukwekkende Fethiye Moskee zien uit de Ottomaanse tijden.
We vervolgen onze tocht over het oude pad dat dwars door de oude Agora van Athene gaat, het administratieve en commerciële centrum en het hart van het oude gedeelte van Athene. Daar kunt u onder andere de Byzantijnse kerk van de Heilige Twaalf Apostelen, de Tempel van Hephaestus en de Stoa van Attalos zien.
We fietsen over een oud pad en zien de mooie, kleine orthodoxe kerk van de Heilige Twaalf Apostelen uit de Byzantijnse tijden.
We zien ook de zeer goed bewaard gebleven oude Tempel van Hephaestus.
Een stop van 5 minuten om de tempel van ver te bewonderen en foto's te maken
Zodra u buiten het pad van de oude Agora fietst, komt u ten overstaan van één van de mooiste openluchtbioscopen van Athene, Cine Thision, die al sinds 1935 bestaat.
Bekijk de Stoa van Attalos in de oude Agora, die ook het Museum van de Agora huisvest.
Na het fietsen door de wijken van Athene op een geweldig fietspad, komen we bij het spectaculaire gebouw Stavros Niarhos Cultural Center, ontworpen door de wereldberoemde architect Renzo Piano.
We steken de grenzen van de oude stad over, langs de archeologische vindplaats Keramikos, die ruïnes omvat van de potterijwijk van het oude Athene, de oude Keramikos-begraafplaats en de oude muren van de stad.
Bewonder het indrukwekkende slagschip Averof dat werd gebruikt in historische oorlogen, zoals de Balkanoorlogen, WO1 en zelfs WO2, evenals Olympias, een reconstructie van een oude trireem.
Geniet van het Atheens strandleven op Kalamaki-strand! U heeft vrije tijd om de omgeving te verkennen, een verfrissend drankje te drinken of zelfs een duik te nemen!
We zien de nieuwe bibliotheek van Athene met het groene dak, die deel uitmaakt van de SNFCC.
Terwijl we terugfietsen zien we de prachtige omgeving van Thissio. We fietsen over een prachtig geplaveide straat en krijgen een voorproefje van de Atheense outdoor lifestyle.
Onze laatste stop is de westelijke ingang van de Akropolis en we ervaren dit adembenemende monument vanuit nog een ander perspectief.
Fiets door de prachtige Flisvos-jachthaven, waar luxe speedboten en jachten zijn aangemeerd.
We stoppen bij een mooi strand en als het weer het toelaat kun je een tijdje zwemmen.

- Opties voor openbaar vervoer zijn in de buurt aanwezig

- Onze fietsen zijn geschikt voor rijders van 147 cm en langer. Als je tussen de 147–160 cm bent, laat het ons dan van tevoren weten zodat we een kleinere fiets kunnen regelen.
- Onze tours werken onder alle weersomstandigheden, regen of zon
- Zorg dat je 15 minuten eerder bij het startpunt bent. De fietstocht begint stipt op het geplande tijdstip en laatkomers kunnen niet worden opgevangen
- Gelieve NOte dat er geen sanitaire voorzieningen zijn op ons ontmoetingspunt
- Deze tour is geschikt voor alle fitnessniveaus, zolang je maar kunt fietsen. Niet aanbevolen voor mensen met hartaandoeningen of andere ernstige medische problemen
- Deelnemers moeten ouder zijn dan 12 jaar
- Deze tour is exclusief toegang tot archeologische vindplaatsen. De focus ligt op het verkennen van de lay-out van de IT y, genieten van de rit en het maken van geweldige foto's en het bevat geen diepgaand historisch commentaar
- Deze tour is beperkt tot maximaal 12 deelnemers
- De reis Leider kan de reisroute wijzigen als gevolg van onvoorziene omstandigheden of verkeersregels op de dag van de tour

Nice and cruisey bike ride from the city to the ocean. We liked that we weren’t on any main roads once out of the city. Once at the sea we had free time to swim or grab a bite at the cafe. Our guide Alex was great fun, lots of laughs and chats along the way. I think he’s worthy of having a bike named after him ;)

What an amazing way to see Athens! The ride was smooth and safe. Our tour guide Costas was amazing!, he explained different parts of the city and even provided a long list of suggestions for restaurants and things to do in Athens. We really enjoyed his company and knowledge. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone!! Because it’s the best way to see the city, while doing something outdoors and being active!

A great way to discover Athens. You get to know not only the typical tourist places, but also a nice insight to other quarters of Athens away from the city center. We cycled safely on cycle paths and pedestrian areas all the way out to the city‘s lovely beaches. Physically it was not challenging because of the e-bikes provided for the tour. We were lucky to be the only guests that day so we had we you might call a private tour. We were also lucky to have Aggelos as our guide. He turned out to be extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his city and he patiently answered all our questions about greek culture, politics, history … . His english was excellent and so over all he was a very pleasant companion. We would recommend this tour for those who want to discover Athens off the beaten track.

Truly an excellent experience. My guide Kleanthis was truly kind, professional, very attentive, and meticulous. Even though I did not always understand English, he did everything to explain the various places we passed through. From the historic center to the sea, it is a relaxing and very interesting e-bike tour. We made strategic stops, and he gave me time to take a swim in the sea as well. The bike is super comfortable. I recommend this tour to everyone and sincerely thank the organization and the guide who accompanied me.

A great ride through the old city then outer Athens down to the marina and beach in a perfect sunlit morning. Kostas our guide was great company and very informative, and the pastry shop along the way was extraordinary. Great bikes too: a much cooler way to get around than traipsing through the sun. Highly recommend this tour as a way of seeing more than the usual sites.
