De Akropolis tour is in het Duits. De groepen zijn klein met maximaal 20 deelnemers. Wij geloven in de kracht van storytelling! Luister naar kleurrijke verhalen om de monumenten in een historische en mythologische context te plaatsen. Ervaar de beroemde Griekse tempels met een gediplomeerde Gids.

Onze gids ontmoet je bij de uitgang van het metrostation Akropoli (uitgang "Makriyianni/Dionysiou Areopagitou") en brengt je naar de ingang van de site. Je passeert alle monumenten op de Akropolis en bovenop de heuvel wordt je beloond met een prachtig 360 graden uitzicht over Athene!
Geboorteplaats van het oude Griekse theater. Leer hoe theater zich ontwikkelde uit de cultus van Dionysos, de god van de wijn. Bewonder de eeuwenoude marmeren stoelen met ingegrifte namen.
Tempel van de godin van de overwinning: Nike. De kleinste tempel op de top van de Acropolis-heuvel. Ontdek hoe de godin van de overwinning een beroemd sportmerk inspireerde.
Monumentale toegangspoort. Ga door de poort om de top van de Akropolis te bereiken. Bewonder het enorme marmeren blok van dichtbij terwijl je er langs loopt.
Grootste tempel op de Acropolis-heuvel gewijd aan de godin Athena. Ontdek dat dit enorme gebouw geen rechte lijnen en geïnspireerde architectuur heeft over de hele wereld.
Tempel met de Kariatiden, de vrouwelijke zuilen. Ontdek wat er met een van de 6 kolommen is gebeurd en ontdek waar het tegenwoordig is. Luister naar de mythe over de strijd tussen Athena en Poseidon.
Bewonder de gerestaureerde Romeinse concertzaal die in 161 na Christus werd gebouwd door de rijke Romein Herodes Atticus ter nagedachtenis aan zijn vrouw Regilla. In de zomer zie je nog steeds grote artiesten als Sting of Patti Smith optreden.

The tour is great, Jessica has told many exciting but also funny stories. A big recommendation.
If you want to visit the Acropolis this is a must. In 1.5 hours Jessica told us about this hill and the buildings. She did this in a very fun and informative way. For us the best way to visit this place!
Jessica is a very enthusiastic guide, who can tell very engaging. We really enjoyed this trip with our family. The explanation in Dutch is a great added value to understand the stories and myths.
Jessica was superb, my teenage daughter and I enjoyed every single part of the tour! The guide is native in Dutch and almost so in German, providing deep insights of the historic and archeologic background of the Acropolis. Go for the combined tour including the museum, it's so more rewarding.
