Beschrijving
Deze tour omvat bijna alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden van Athene binnen een paar uur. Deze tour heeft een persoonlijk karakter. De auto is alleen voor jou. De chauffeur zal tijdens de tour aan al uw behoeften proberen te voldoen. U kunt de voorgestelde route eenvoudig aanpassen aan uw wensen.

Onze privétour begint met het bezoek van de natuurlijk versterkte heuvel van de Akropolis, de hoeksteen van het bestaan van Athene. Je reist terug in de oudheid en wandelt tussen de Propylaea, de Tempel van Athena Nike, het unieke Parthenon en het Erechteion. Vanaf de top heeft u een panoramisch uitzicht op het oude theater van Dionisos & van de Herodion (Odeion van Herodes Atticus).
Onze privétour gaat verder met de Olympeion. Je bezoekt de tempel van Zeus en de boog van Hadrianus.
De volgende stop is het beroemde Panathenaic-stadion (ook bekend als Kallimarmaron) waar de eerste moderne Olympische Spelen in 1896 nieuw leven werden ingeblazen.
De volgende attractie is het presidentieel herenhuis (ex-Koninklijk paleis) waar u de traditionele wisseling van de wacht zult volgen.
Onze auto klimt dan naar de St. George Lycabettus-heuvel met het beste panoramische uitzicht op Athene (ideale plek om foto's te maken).

Onze volgende stop is bij de oude agora. Je bezoekt de Helleense Agora (Aeropagus) en de Romeinse Agora.
Onze laatste attractie in Athene is de beroemde Plaka. Je zult verdwalen in de smalle straatjes waar de geest van het oude Athene bestaat. U heeft de tijd om boodschappen te doen of te genieten van een verfrissing in een gezellig café.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Als het ophalen van het hotel of appartement in Athene plaatsvindt, bevindt het ontmoetingspunt zich net buiten de toegangspoort van het hotel of van het gebouw van het appartement. Als de ophaalservice plaatsvindt bij de Cruise Terminal in de haven van Piraeus, wachten we de passagiers bij de uitgangspoort van de cruiseterminal met het label met hun naam erop.

Fabulous tour guide, impressive historian. ‘George’ was very kind, hospitable, providing us with with cold waters & cleansing towels to provide us with Ultimate Comfort.
George was an amazing tour guide. He took us to every spot we wanted to go to and gave us time to take pictures. He was helpful in pointing out places we didn’t know about we learned all about the history of Athens. 100% recommend going on the tour.
Nikos (Yomadic Tours) is an exceptional guide, and our Athens tour with him was incredible! His English is great, and he made sure our transportation between the chaotic city sites was completely seamless and stress-free. Beyond the history, he gave us fantastic recommendations for local restaurants that we loved. Nikos has a wonderful sense of humor that kept everyone engaged—our entire family, including our teenage son, had a fantastic time. We were so happy to have him as our guide again!

George met us on time, was excellent with our 10 year old son. He was full of great knowledge, ideas and communicated well with us throughout the tour. He also made sure we knew where and when to meet him, sent us regular WhatsApp notes, dropped pins for locations and made sure he was always doing as we wished. We loved the little side stops he suggested and we had a really great time. We would book again!
