De heuvel van de Akropolis is het hoogtepunt van de tour, waar je de kans krijgt om alle oude plaatsen van de Akropolis te bekijken, waaronder Herodes Atticus, de Tempel van Athena Nike, Propylea, Erechteum en Parthenon. De tour duurt ongeveer 2 uur met gelicentieerde gids of minder zonder gelicentieerde gids.
Tempel van Olympische Zeus, ook bekend als de Plympieion of Kolommen van de Olympische Zeus, is een voormalige kolossale tempel in het centrum van Athene.
Panathenaic Stadium is de plaats waar de eerste moderne Olympische Spelen plaatsvonden in 1896.
Aan de zijde van de Nationale Tuin kunnen bezoekers de wisseling van de wacht voor het oude paleis boven het centrale plein van Athene zien.

In het nieuwe museum van Akropolis kan iedereen genieten van de oude tentoonstellingen met of zonder erkende gids.
In de schaduw van de Akropolis en zijn oude tempels, heeft het heuvelachtige Plaka een dorpsgevoel, met smalle geplaveide straatjes met kleine winkeltjes met sieraden, kleding en lokaal keramiek. Terrasjes en door familie gerunde taverna's blijven tot laat open en Cine Paris toont klassieke films in de buitenlucht. In de buurt geven de witgekalkte huizen van de Anafiotika-wijk de kleine enclave de sfeer van een Grieks eiland, waar we een stop kunnen maken om traditioneel Grieks eten te proeven.

Outstanding. Our guide Artistotle is so enthusiastic about Athens, the city he grew up in. He studied archeology and history and is a wealth of knowledge. Don’t try and see these sites without having a Guide bring it all to life for you - it is so worth it.

Our Guide Theodore was fantastic and very attentive. He made sure even though at some times it drizzled rain he had an umbrella for us to use. He drove us to all drop offs so we did not have to walk far to the attraction. He even bought our tickets for us ahead of time to be sure we had tickets to timed attractions that we would not have know about. Theodore had already mapped out our itinerary to be sure we covered all sights in one day which is what we ask. Wonderful experience.
Panno, our driver and guide was phenomenal. He was very courteous, knowledgable and entertaining. I highly recommend him as it made our tour very enjoyable.

Aristóteles our tour guide was absolutely perfect. It was an amazing perfect day. My husband love the history and secret facts about Greece. The itinerary was excellent. We cover all the most important things to see without crowds and lines. Aristóteles was constantly making sure we had a great time . I absolutely recommend a private tour specially with Aristóteles. Aris was a wonderful tour guide, he was well informed and allowed us to dictate what we would like to do on the tour. He patiently answered all of my questions and was very kind and courteous throughout the entire tour. We got to experience most of the downtown area of Athens and had a wonderful lunch at the Marina. He even surprised us with a secret spot or two that I won’t divulge here lol. Once again it was a wonderful time, he made my birthday that much better so thank you 🇬🇷🤎.

Aristotelis takes his tours personal. We were lucky to ride with him as his knowledge and grace were really delightful. His having served in the guard made our experience at the changing of the guard feel personal. The tour was an educational experience because Aristotelis has studied his country’s history and culture and is very good at explaining at a basic level, the Greek history. The tour is well worth the money we paid and I would recommend it to all my friends and family if they were to visit Athens.

We had an AMAZING tour with Aristotelis. You can do Athens on your own to see the sites but having a guide made such a difference. He made sure to make us feel comfortable to ask questions and make it clear to us that we directed the tour and that we was flexible based on our timing and needs. On top of that he was so knowledgeable. We got way more out of this than any audio guided or walking tour. Not to mention the ACed car from destination to destination was unbeatable; our guide knew exactly where we’d get tired and even met us outside the car with water bottles hahaha. Overall the tour was amazing and Aristotelis was the best guide we could have asked for. The personal touch he added to each location made a world of difference and it was an experience my partner and I will remember forever. Thank you for making our day in Athens so great!!

After reading about this tour here at Tripadvisor, I got in touch with Fotis and asked for a tour with Aristoteles. We could not have made a better choice! Aristoteles is very polite, kind and passionate about his work! I will not spoil the surprises but he did have some tricks to make our single day in Athens kinda special!
