Levendige Psyrri centra op Iroon Square, waarvan de omliggende straten eetgelegenheden bieden met meze en live muziek, waaronder rembetika (Griekse blues). Bars met dj's blijven laat open, net als taverna's met traditionele specialiteiten zoals gehaktballetjes en Griekse salade. Kleine ambachtelijke winkels, vaak versierd met graffiti, verkopen handgemaakte lederen tassen, indie-mode en ongebruikelijke huishoudelijke artikelen.
Het is een Wine & Deli Bar in de pittoreske wijk Psyri.
Levendig Monastiraki staat bekend om iconische monumenten, waaronder de ruïnes van de bibliotheek van Hadrianus, de oude Agora en de herbouwde Stoa van Attalos, met een museum met Atheense artefacten. De vlooienmarkt van Monastiraki is een verzameling winkels met ambachtelijke zeep, handgemaakte sandalen en souvenir T-shirts. De omliggende straten zijn vol met traditionele taverna's en restaurants, veel met uitzicht op de Akropolis.
In de schaduw van de Akropolis en zijn oude tempels heeft Plaka op een heuvel een dorpsgevoel, met smalle geplaveide straatjes met kleine winkeltjes met sieraden, kleding en lokale keramiek. Terrasjes en door familie gerunde taverna's blijven tot laat open en Cine Paris toont klassieke films in de buitenlucht. In de buurt geven de witgekalkte huizen van de Anafiotika-wijk de kleine enclave een Grieks-eilandachtige uitstraling.
"Feyrouz" is een verborgen plek, in het historische centrum van Athene, naast de straat Aiolou. Het doel is om de kleine, gastronomische familiegeschiedenis aan de bezoekers te presenteren

A walking food tour of Athens at night, led by Maria, was the best way to get to know Athens. Hearing the history of Athens, during a tour that started at a small wine bar and ended much later, after great Greek dessert, at a roof top bar. Maria was fabulous - knowledgeable, energetic, great company and fun to spend time with. Highly recommend both the tour and Maria as your guide!
The walking tour was a fun and informative way to see different parts of Athens. Maria was very knowledgable. I suggest doing the tour on the early end of your visit.

This tour was amazing. It was perfect for our first night in Athens. Maria took us all over Plaka and Monastiraki and showed us great places to shop and recommended tons of out-of-the-way local places to eat during our stay. We stopped at a cute wine bar for cheese, olives, and wine, then to a great gyros spot, got Greek donuts for dessert, and finally stopped at a lovely rooftop bar for a cocktail. The pace was perfect and Maria even gifted us a song with some street musicians. She was very friendly and even helped me find some of those olives after I got home. It was a memorable experience and I'm very glad we did it, especially on our first night.
Our tour guide Maria Ketikidou was amazing! She was right on time to meet us at the meeting location. We actually got started a few minutes early and she was extremely knowledgeable. It was our very first day in Athens, so she gave us a lot of great recommendations for the rest of our trip as far as places to eat and things to see. She got some pictures for us and was very personable. The food and drinks were amazing and we got to try things we would’ve never done. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her and would not hesitate to book another tour with her again when we go back.

Maria was the absolut best Guide we ever had. She is a heartwarming guide who loves her job and makes the tour feel like a close friend showing us around the city. It was a perfect mix of walking around, sightseeing and drinking and eating in delicious local bars and restaurants. We had wonderful conversations and inside story about the city and all kind of other themes. We can highly recommend this tour to everyone who wants to experience a tour around the city and it’s nightlife (bars, restaurants, local inside tips, story’s and districts). Maria was amazing very informative and a delightful person to talk too she made our first night in athens very memorable showed us all the main spots and gave great suggestions for restaurants and bars and shopping
This was a fantastic experience! Dorella showed us a wonderful time! It was awesome to be shown the city from a native’s perspective! The food and drinks were amazing. We spent a magical four hours really getting to experience Athens! I give 10 stars if I could!
Panos was great! There was 7 of us so it was only us on the tour. He answered any questions we came up with. Definitely had plenty of food! By the end we couldn't eat anymore.
