Reis terug in de tijd tijdens een 4 uur durende Skip the line informatieve en leuke tour naar het belangrijkste monument in Athene. Deze tour wordt begeleid door een Engels sprekende field Expert en gediplomeerde tour Gids. Ontdek de Akropolis van Athene die op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat door een reis in de geschiedenis, mythologie en verhalen te maken. De tour gaat verder met een bezoek aan het Akropolis Museum, dat is gerangschikt onder de top Musea in de wereld. Alle originele bewaard gebleven meesterwerken uit de tempels van de Akropolis worden tentoongesteld met het gebruik van natuurlijk licht. Uitgravingen zijn ook zichtbaar onder glazen vloeren en loopbruggen.

Ontmoet uw Gids op ons kantoor op Mitseon 2, Athene, 11742, ten minste 15 minuten voor aanvang van de tour en begin de tour met een bezoek aan de Akropolis heuvel. Op weg naar boven bezoekt u het Dionysus Theater, waar alle beroemde oude drama's en tragedies voor het eerst werden opgevoerd. U wandelt rond het prachtige Odeon van Herodes Atticus en het heiligdom van de genezende god Asclepius. Op de top van de heuvel bezoek je het Propylea, de Tempel van Nike, de Erechtheion Tempel, en natuurlijk het Parthenon; het symbool van democratie en westerse beschaving. Deze monumenten dateren uit de 5e eeuw voor Christus en zijn getuigenissen van het glorieuze oude Athene en de Gouden Eeuw van Perikles. Neem een korte pauze voordat u verder gaat naar het Akropolismuseum, waar u gebruik kunt maken van de badkamer.
Direct na de Akropolis tour heeft u de mogelijkheid om het Akropolis Museum te bezoeken gelegen op slechts een paar minuten lopen van de Akropolis site. Op de begane grond onthullen de tentoongestelde artefacten u facetten van het Atheense dagelijks leven; u maakt kennis met de huwelijksgebruiken, het favoriete speelgoed van de kinderen, de genezingstechnieken, de religieuze praktijken. Op de eerste verdieping staat u op ademafstand van de mysterieuze archaïsche beelden uit de 6e eeuw voor Christus die ooit de Akropolis sierden. Laat je fascineren door te wandelen naast de Karjatiden en enorme stukken van de ingang van de Akropolis. Op de laatste verdieping, naast het adembenemende uitzicht op de Akropolis, kan men het originele unieke in concept en artistieke uitmuntendheid Parthenon fries bewonderen.
Wandel naar het Parthenon dat gewijd was aan de godin Athena, de patrones van de stad Athene. Bewonder dit 5e-eeuwse zenit van de Dorische orde architectuur.
Breeze voorbij de lijn en ervaar de sensatie van het zien van het Theater van Dionysos waar vele beroemde oude komedies en tragedies voor het eerst werden opgevoerd.
Ga verder naar het Romeinse Herodion theater dat werd gebouwd ter nagedachtenis aan de vrouw van Herodes Atticus.
Klim omhoog naar de poort van de Akropolis, de Propylaea.
Geniet van het uitzicht op de Tempel van Athena Nike.
Tot slot, zie het Erechtheion dat is een uniek meesterwerk van de architectuur vooral vanwege de asymmetrische compositie, en de steunen omvatten 6 gebeeldhouwde vrouwelijke figuren.

- Toegangskaarten : Als u tickets heeft geboekt, zal uw Gids deze aan u overhandigen bij het verzamelpunt. Als u zonder tickets boekt, koop ze dan minstens 24 uur van tevoren online (vraag ons naar het juiste tijdslot), of u kunt ze bij ons kopen (30€ Akropolis / 20€ Museum per persoon, alleen voor volwassenen) alleen als u ons ten minste 24 uur van tevoren op de hoogte stelt om beschikbaarheid te garanderen.
- Stiptheid is cruciaal vanwege strikte toegangstijden voor de Akropolis; laatkomers kunnen niet worden opgevangen en restituties zijn niet mogelijk

This was so cool!!! Got to we the whole acropolis and went into the museum! Our tour guide, Maryzoey, was very knowledgeable and very friendly.
VERY physically demanding. It was very hot, but the climb to the top was very difficult. Back down wasn’t much easier.
Very well organized. Our tour guide Margaret was amazing, well informed and made the experience educational and entertaining. She was a true Professional! I would definitely recommend the tour.
This tour was an awesome experience. The day was beautiful. I recommend a morning tour during the summer, it gets brutally hot. Make sure you have good walking shoes with grip as the stones at the top are slippery. The guide was informative and made sure any questions were answered. It’s great seeing history.

We booked the full guided tour of the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum. Lydia, our guide from Athena Tours, was fantastic and did a wonderful job of sharing historical details and anecdotes behind the places we visited and saw. Lydia kept us all engaged and entertained the whole time, all 4 hours, 2hrs while climbing up the hill and another 1.5hrs in the museum! I would highly recommend her and the tour.

Fabulous guide. You can walk around on your own, but it was great to get the history lesson. Would caution it is a bit of a climb, and the heat is tough. Wear good shoes!
