Een privétour, geschikt voor reizigers met beperkte tijd om de mai-attracties van Athene te dekken!

Je privétour begint met de Acropolis-site, een complex van gebouwen met het Parthenon (hoofdtempel), Erectheion (de tempel met de 6 vrouwelijke figuranten, Caryatides), Tempel van Athena Nike (Wingless Godess), Propylaia (de monumentale poort) ), Odeon van Herodus Atticus, het Dionysustheater en ten slotte de Marsheuvel of Areios Pagos (het eerste oude hof en de plaats die St. Paulus voor de eerste keer in Athene predikte).
Onze volgende stop is de Tempel van de Olympische Zeus (de grootste tempel in de Helleense en Romeinse tijd)
Daarna bezoeken we het Panathenian Stadium (het stadion van de eerste Olympische Spelen in 1896)
We gaan verder met een bezoek aan het monument van de onbekende soldaat en de wisseling van de wachters (Euzones) voor het Griekse parlement, tegenover het Syntagma of het Constitutionele plein.
We rijden ook door Plaka (de oudste wijk van Athene), de pittoreske wijk van de stad, waar kleine winkeltjes zijn met handgemaakte kunstnijverheid en geschenken die u kunt kopen en Monastiraki (vlooienmarkt), waar u kunt wandelen en winkelen. met je vrienden en familie.
Daarna laten we de Trilogie van Athene zien (de Academie, de Eerste Universiteit van Athene en de Nationale Griekse Bibliotheek)
Eindelijk bezoeken we de Lycabettus-heuvel (het hoogste punt van Athene) en vergeet niet om wat foto's en een herinnering in gedachten en hart van de hele stad te maken.

Absolutely awesome. Jim arrived early and was more than just a tour guide. He was the most patient, accommodating and knowledgeable person we could have asked for. Was only concerned about what we wanted to do and made great suggestions on places to go including lunch. Saw more of Athens than we ever dreamed possible in a day. Highly recommend this company as it is family owned and operated and you can tell. It’s all about the customer and making sure they feel special and happy.

Great for a family or group to see all of Athens. George was very informative and friendly. We learned so much and had plenty of time to see everything. Did not feel rushed and loved being picked up from hotel and dropped off at our restaurant for lunch. Would highly recommend for first day in Athens.

Our group of 16 had an amazing experience with Enjoy Greece Tours! Kostas and Jim went above and beyond to make our time in Athens unforgettable. Due to the size of our group and the amount of luggage we had, Kostas arranged a 50 passenger bus for our group. This allowed us to keep our luggage with us as we toured Athens. We were very comfortable and grateful for the extra room while touring. Jim and our driver treated us like royalty as they toured us around town. We had an excellent meal at a local restaurant in Athens where we were able to taste Athens delicious cuisine. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone visiting Athens as they went above and beyond to make our experience in Athens wonderful!

We did the Christian tour, where we got to see historical sites like the temple of Zeus and Acropolis. We walked where Paul walked and preached in different places. Out tour guide was amazing. He was very flexible and social and taught us many interesting things about Athens' history and Paul's history.

We had a great 4 hour trip ; Demetrius did an amazing job. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable…..he really took all our needs in consideration especially my father who was unable to walk much!!!!

We had a private tour with Jim. He met us earlier than the time it was supposed to start which was great bc we got to the acropolis early and beat all the crowds on the way up. He was very knowledgeable about Athens and the history. He made us feel comfortable and special bc it was our honeymoon. He even wanted to do something special for us. He never rushed us anywhere, let us take our time and even was a great photographer for us. Highly recommended to see Athens!!
