Geniet van een rustige wandeling door het historische Gülhane Park, ooit onderdeel van de tuinen van het Topkapı Paleis. Sluit uw reis af bij de kleurrijke en aromatische Spice Bazaar, waar de geuren van exotische kruiden en specerijen de essentie van het rijke culinaire erfgoed van Istanbul vastleggen. Onze gids verwelkomt de gasten voor dit museum. Gasten gaan naar het museum te bezoeken voor ongeveer 30 minuten en verder met de tram voor de belangrijkste Archeologisch Museum van Istanbul. Dit museum maakt deel uit van de Universiteit van Istanbul en herbergt een rijke collectie artefacten uit de oude Anatolische, Griekse en Romeinse beschavingen. Gelegen in Beyazıt, biedt het bezoekers een kijkje in het historische en culturele erfgoed van de regio.
Onze gasten bezoeken dit prachtige archeologische museum met hun gids voor een tijdje waarna ze wat vrije tijd hebben binnen en de tuin van het museum. Gelegen in de buurt van het Topkapi Paleis, de Istanbul Archeologie Musea huisvesten een indrukwekkende collectie van oude artefacten. Met tentoonstellingen uit Mesopotamië, Anatolië, Griekenland en Rome biedt het een diepe duik in de rijke geschiedenis van de regio. Hoogtepunten zijn onder andere de Alexander Sarcofaag en het Verdrag van Kadesh, het oudste vredesverdrag ter wereld.
Dit park wordt het einde van de tour. De gasten kunnen thee drinken, koffie drinken in de tuin en afscheid nemen van de gids.
Hier om gasten onze gaan om historische medrese te zien dient als werkplaats voor lokale kalligrafie en Ebru (Papier marmering) etc... Ook is het traditionele school dat je wat thee, koffiepauze in het hof yart kan hebben.
Hier kunnen onze gasten onze Gids volgen voor wat winkelen en informatie over de bazaar. Ook gasten kunnen hier hun eigen vrije tijd hebben. Mısır Çarşısı (Specerijenbazaar) is een van de meest levendige en historische markten van Istanbul, gelegen in de wijk Eminönü in de buurt van de Galatabrug. Gebouwd in de 17e eeuw als onderdeel van de Nieuwe Moskee complex, werd het oorspronkelijk gefinancierd door belastingen geïnd uit Egypte - vandaar de naam "Egyptische Bazaar." Beroemd om zijn kleurrijke kraampjes gevuld met specerijen, gedroogd fruit, kruidenthee, snoep en souvenirs, biedt de bazaar een zintuiglijke reis door de smaken en aroma's van de Turkse cultuur. Het is een perfecte plek om de lokale smaken te verkennen, authentieke producten te kopen en de bruisende sfeer van een markt uit het Ottomaanse tijdperk te ervaren die vandaag de dag nog leeft.

We had a wonderful adventure visiting the Istanbul Archeological Museum with Taner. He is very knowledgeable, communicates excellently in English and is an all around interesting and pleasant guy. It was the first day of El Al-Asha holiday, and many sights were closed, so we decided to take this tour as the archeology Museum was open. We lucked out as we had such a personable guide who gave excellent explanations about the ancient artifacts and told us colorful stories. We enjoyed our time with Taner and came away feeling we also got to spend some time with a local and learn a bit more about life in Istanbul.

Deniz is the best tour guide i have ever had. He is literally a walking encyclopaedia about the history of Turkey, providing only the most relevant, interesting and meaningful information. Entrance to the museums and cafes was a breeze, I didn't need to lift a finger as Deniz anticipated my needs and went out of his way to ensure I was happy with the tour. We had a tea break at an art cafe that was a hidden gem as it had unique, original artworks on display as well as for sale (and artists creating work onsite) and delicious food and coffee. I could not recommend this tour more highly, specifically because Deniz ensured it was unforgettable. Thank you so much!
