Tickets voor het dak van de Arc de Triomphe - Optionele Privé Gids

We had a great experience visiting the Arc de Triomphe with these tickets. Everything worked exactly as promised — we walked right in, skipped the long lines, and went straight up to the top. The whole process was easy, and we felt like very prepared travelers as we walked past everyone waiting in line! The views were absolutely worth it. I would definitely recommend booking this way.

No guide showed up at the meeting place. We went in on our own and did not get the tour we paid for. Very unsatisfactory and very unprofessional

Hard to find the underground entry when lots of people around. Walk on the right hand side of the Champs Elleysee with the Arc on front of you. Right before the road is a red sign on the underground entrance.

If you need to take the lift, I would buy the ticket that day. After my morning and jet lag, I didn’t feel like walking up the stairs. I am not sure what the value is of buying this timed ticket for the lift. The prior reviews hinted at this problem. I didn’t take it seriously enough. My other experiences with Viator -guided and unguided- have been excellent. I will definitely try to get to the top again.

Beautiful view of Paris from the top. The elevator was broken so we had to take the stairs. Thankfully you can take your time.

This was a nifty way to get into the Arc de Triomphe. Warning in September 2026 - the elevator was broken. But if you’re willing to climb a 280-step spiral staircase (there are little coves every so often if you need to stop), the view is very worth it!

Our tickets were very difficult to find and the meeting location was vague and not locatable. No one was there and no warning the lift was out.

My ticket was for 7.30pm. I arrived at 5.30pm they told me to come back at the right time (fair enough). When I came back at 7.30 there was a notice stuck to the door saying the monument was closed. No explanation, no nothing.

We had a 8pm entry, and we were looking forward to watching the Eiffel Tower light up and sparkle. Just after the sun went down and the Eiffel Tower started to gradually begin to light up, the staff at the Arc closed the rooftop to the disappointment of everyone on the rooftop. They began ushering everyone out and people became visibly angry and annoyed several saying this is extremely unfair! This was not the experience I paid for and someone should be accountable for this!

the iconic arc de triomphe is a must-see while in paris. looking around and up at it is truly humbling. so much history and beauty. it’s utterly phenomenal! the climb up was a bit rough and i was not looking forward to it but thankfully it went relatively fast. once we got to the second level, we were able to rest for a bit before continuing up to the top which was a short climb up. the view atop is MAGNIFICENT! all of paris laid out right before our eyes. it just took my breath away. we were able to walk around and look at the city from all sides of the tower. the best part is since it is a self-guided tour, you can stay as long as you like. it wasn’t terribly crowded the day i visited and was able to take some amazing photographs. overall, an amazing experience and i’m so glad we went! if you have the opportunity, you should go. you will not regret it!
