Nouméa's Aquarium, een grandioze en speelse ruimte die de ontdekking van alle verschillende aquatische ecosystemen van Nieuw-Caledonië mogelijk maakt. Van zoet water tot diepzeegebieden, de hele diversiteit van de lagune is toegankelijk voor bezoekers in 33 zeewatertanks, verlicht met natuurlijk licht, waaronder de beroemde fluorescerende koralen en nautilus die endemisch zijn voor Nieuw-Caledonië. De grote watertank voor schildpadden is gelegen in het buitenparkgebied van het Aquarium. Dankzij een klein bruggetje over de tank kun je net boven deze lieve vrienden staan. Uw retourtransfers naar het Aquarium worden verzekerd door de inbegrepen Hop On Hop Off-bussen. U kunt deze bussen gerust de hele dag gebruiken om in totaal 7 verschillende bestemmingen in Nouméa te bereiken. HOUD ER REKENING MEE DAT Dit pakket is alleen beschikbaar als er cruiseschepen in Nouméa zijn aangemeerd. De officiële laatste toegang tot de attractie is 16.00 uur. maar we herinneren je eraan dat de laatste Hop On Hop Off-bus om 16.00 uur stopt. voor het Aquarium. Zorg ervoor dat u zeker bent van uw timing. Gesloten op maandag.

We bought this for the hop on shuttle but the aquarium was a revelation! It is a little gem. Do not be tempted to miss it. The exhibits focus on the local reef life. If you are snorkeling on your trip, and you should, this place will educate you and fill in the the things you may miss. Be sure to go out into the garden area where there are stunning views of the island and an amazing sea turtle tank. As a bonus, shop at the well curated museum shop and support their work.

HOHO bus but no narration during the trip. One of the buses had graphics on the window so it was difficult to take photos. I did enjoy the included aquarium visit.

Cruise ship passengers are not allowed to walk through the port so we needed to get the ship shuttle into town where the cruise port terminalis located. as we approached the terminal, we could see the sone vendors outside on the right. a couple of staff members wearing Lyvai shirts were there. they had a small line of people already but when we approached, they asked if we had a reservation and I said yes I had pre- They moved me to the front of the line. they gave us our wristbands for the Ho ho bus and tickets for the aquarium. The process was easy and less confusing than other reviewers had mentioned. The buses came around about every 20 to 30 minutes, so no long waits for a return bus. The morning market is precisely that, only in the morning so you would need to stop there first and early if you want to go. The aquarium was small but great, lots of very interesting displays of fish. Don’t miss going outside to the turtle area! Other companies offer the double-decker buses so if you are interested in that type of tour, you may want to choose another company, but we found this one fine for transportation, but it wasn’t a narrated bus tour. The total tour area takes about 45 minutes if you just go around the whole loop. The aquarium is the last stop and there is a beach right across from there so if you take your beach gear, you could make aday of it.

The Aquarium was ok. Was interesting. We spent 1 hour there. The bus only goes around the Cruise terminal, Lemon bay, Aquarium area. Bus was nice. No comituary though. Really enjoyed having lunch at a restaurant at Lemon bay ($90 aus for 2 people). Had a swim in the shark net enclosure swim area. Was very nice indeed. I was happy with the tour and price. Filled the day in.

The aquarium is worth a visit, Its very well done. But the hop on hop off bus is a joke. We were expecting a route around the Noumea area but it was a direct route to the aquarium and back. The driver announcing stops was impossible to hear over a blaring advertising soundtrack played on the bus speakers. Avoid!

This was very straight forward getting to the aquarium and we were all pleasantly suprised at he different types of sea life we saw

The aquarium was small but lots of cool things to see including sea turtles. The bus route was short so did not see as much as I expected. Maybe because it was a Sunday it was just the City .market. lLemon Bay and the aquarium.
Hi Sir, Thank you for your feedback and rating of this excursion Aquarium Package including Hop-on Hop-off bus all day; I confirm that it is a little bit complicated for businesses (shops) to be open on Sundays, however the Morning Market is open every days except on Mondays (5.00 am until 12.00 pm), as are all the restaurants and bars in Anse Vata and Lemon Bay, not forgetting the Zoological & forest park & and the Aquarium of Laggon which make the effort to be open at each cruise ship stopover. The Aquarium was lovely drivers helpful once you were able to hop on. Kept missing the hop on they didn’t explain that they had set stops had to get different service to return

Great experience, fantastic display of marine life. Easy access from the cruise ship with the hop on hop off bus. Would recommend a visit to every one.
