Appalachian Waterfalls-wandeling

My tour guide was Wes and he was terrific. He's friendly and very knowledgeable and he challenged me to push my almost 60 or old body to do 8.6 miles in 3 1/2 hours. I would recommend him and Smoky Mountain Guides to everyone I know. Thank you!

This hike was voted the BEST part of our trip by our 13 year old and 8 year old! ! Wes, our guide, was extraordinary! Very professional, super friendly and knowledgeable about the Park. Bonus - he was GREAT with our kids! In fact, Wes was the first to jump in the water when our boys decided to go swimming! :):) Highly recommend!!

Great communication with the office to schedule and plan a hike for our family of five. Our original hike had to be changed because a landslide closed the rode to that hike and the new hike, to Baskins Creek and waterfall was an excellent substitution. We met early (7:30am) with our guide John and followed him to the parking lot in the park. We got the last two spots so going early was important. The hike took 3 hours and John was great about explaining the fauna and fire marks around the trail and how the park has evolved over time. We purchased our parking pass online which saved time. The hike was easy/moderate and downhill going down, with a detour to an old cemetery. Uphill on the way back was a little harder. The trail was well marked with some climbing over rocks and a stream. We all had a great time.

We had a wonderful time on our hike with Hannah and Kendall. They were fun and accommodating. Hike was about 4.5mi round trip and was very do-able for the inexperienced, we had two teens with us and they did just fine and really enjoyed themselves. We saw some old abandoned buildings, an old cemetery and waterfalls. Great day, thanks girls!

We had a wonderful hike with Wes. He was so knowledgeable and made sure we had everything we needed for a safe and fun time. I only wish we had done this earlier on our trip because we would have signed up for another hike. This was definitely a highlight of our vacation!

Many, many thanks to Wes for an awesome morning hike in the Great Smoky Mountains! The hike was an easy gravel trail beside a creek with beautiful rapids and a waterfall. Wes was amazing and shared a wealth of information about the park. We learned a lot about various plants, wildlife, and fly fishing, and we were so entertained by his many real-life stories having grown up in the area. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to get into the woods with a knowledgeable guide!

Our guide, Hannah was very personable, knowledgeable, fun and accommodating. The trail was perfect for our middle aged group. The scenery was gorgeous and we loved learning about the plants, animals and history.

Our guides were amazing. Very knowledgeable and made the trip a wonderful experience. We went at our own pace and they offered different options to us. They had snacks and water for us halfway through the hike. Our girls 12, 13, 14 loved it as well!

I took the Appalachian Waterfalls Trail Hike with Mark today 10/29/24. I had a fantastic tour and Mark was very accommodating to my needs. The tour overall was roughy about 3 hours long and we had a chance to view the Spruce Flat Falls. Mark was an expert guide and had all the necessities with him- including hiking sticks, water and snacks with a backpack to store any jackets etc. The hike was easy to moderate and we took a few short breaks. Overall it was a fantastic day with great weather and I really enjoyed it! Would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to tour the Smoky Mountains National Park.
