We bezoeken het heiligdom van de witkopkapucijnapen, de intelligentste apensoort in de nieuwe wereld. Ons bezoek zal veilig en informatief zijn voor iedereen, van kinderen tot volwassenen. We leren over hun gezinsorganisatie, alfa's en bèta's, en hoe we hun leeftijd kunnen berekenen. Tijdens deze tochten mogen mensen de dieren niet aanraken, maar dieren mogen wel mensen aanraken als zij zich daar prettig bij voelen. Het zijn nog steeds wilde dieren en we schenden hun leefgebied niet. We mogen ze ook niet voeren We zullen dan de krokodillen van Rio Grande de Tarcoles zien en genieten van de lokale souvenirverkoop en een buffetrestaurant. We kunnen ervoor kiezen om de krokodillen vanaf de brug te bewonderen of een boottocht te maken voor $ 43 extra. De boottocht duurt ongeveer 1:40 minuten en is inclusief vogels kijken en een natuurgids. We gaan dan naar een verborgen strand in Jaco om de luiaards te zien. We gaan op stoelen zitten, hebben een tafel en ik serveer drankjes en snacks.

This experience was more than we even expected. Our guide, Geriald, was so knowledgeable and kind and I can’t imagine someone doing a better job. The other guide Jose was also so special, and was sweet to my inquisitive son. The monkey part was our favorite and is a must do! We also had lunch at an authentic soda which our family said was the best of the whole trip. We did see sloths and even a baby one 🥹 Highly recommend this tour - the cost is so reasonable for what you get. Hopefully you get Geriald and Jose!
We had an amazing time on this excursion! We stopped at the famous crocodile bridge where crocodiles are usually seen, but there weren’t any out during our visit. That didn’t matter because we saw tons of monkeys, got to feed them, and even spotted several sloths high up in the trees. The guide was very knowledgeable, and we learned so much about the monkeys, sloths, and the local wildlife, making the tour both fun and very educational. The tour also included an authentic, typical Costa Rican meal at Restaurante Vinicio el Chef, and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this excursion if you want to experience Costa Rica’s incredible wildlife while learning about it and enjoying authentic local cuisine.

Extremely knowledgable and kind. Took us to a really beautiful restaurant. We saw two sloths a little far away but he had equipment so we could have a closer encounter.
Gerald was amazing and told us a lot about his beautiful country. His English was excellent and he worked EXTREMELY hard to ensure we had the best possible experience. We traveled with a group of 6. Two in their mid 70's and two kids ages 14 and 11. I would highly recommend using this company as our experience was wonderful.
A unique and memorable experience! We loved the interaction with the monkeys and our driver, Jocelyn, went out of her way to make sure we got to see sloths before she dropped us back off at our lodging. A wonderful tour!

My girlfriend and I had a great experience. We were able to see and interact with the monkeys and learned a lot of cool information! The crocodile’s were cool to see from the viewpoint. Lunch was provided and very good! We also got to see a sloth in its natural habitat. Would recommend, a perfect way to spend the morning!!

This was a great way to spend the morning! We spent time with monkeys, saw the crocs and found 2 sloths! One of the people in the group isn’t a huge animal lover and still really enjoyed. The tour was informative, fun, and overall very worth it.

The monkeys alone make this tour worth it! Geirold and his team’s passion for their country and its wildlife truly shines through. We had an amazing, interactive experience with the monkeys in a private sanctuary, saw crocodiles, and were lucky enough to spot three sloths. Geirold’s telescope gave us an incredible close-up view of their little faces, which was such a special touch. The authentic lunch was another highlight. Overall, this tour was an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience!
