Als de eerste spannende stop op uw Antalya City Tour, de Neder-Düden Watervallen (Karpuzkaldıran) biedt een spectaculaire introductie tot de natuurlijke schoonheid van de regio. Wat je gaat zien & doen De grote duik: Zie de dramatische finale van de Düden terwijl deze krachtig 40 meter over een klif stroomt en direct in de turquoise Middellandse Zee duikt – een werkelijk zeldzaam gezicht! Fotomogelijkheden : Vanaf de uitkijkplatforms in het Düdenpark krijgt u de beste uitzichtpunten voor het maken van onvergetelijke foto's van de watervallen, de opstijgende mist (soms regenbogen!) en het prachtige kustpanorama. Een natuurlijke oase : Boven-Düdense watervallen Tijdens onze Antalya City Tour bezoeken we de prachtige Upper Düden Waterfalls. Terwijl onze tour ooit de Tünektepe-kabelbaan omvatte, is deze momenteel gesloten. Als geweldig alternatief biedt deze natuurlijke oase een heerlijke ontsnapping uit de stad. Hier kunt u door het serene park wandelen, de krachtige waterval bewonderen en verborgen grotten achter de watervallen ontdekken. De weelderige, groene omgeving en de geluiden van het ruisende water zorgen voor een verfrissende en rustige ervaring, die een perfecte gelegenheid biedt voor geweldige foto's en een rustig moment in de natuur.
Na de watervallen stapt uw tour terug in de tijd in Kaleiçi, de historische kern van Antalya. Omsloten door oude Romeinse en Byzantijnse muren, is dit "binnenkasteel" een heerlijk, geschiedenisrijk doolhof. Wat je gaat zien & doen Wandel door de geplaveide straten : Verdwaal in het labyrint van smalle, kronkelende kasseienstraatjes met prachtig gerestaureerde huizen uit de Ottomaanse tijd. Hun rode pannendaken en houten balkons bieden een kijkje in het verleden. Iconische bezienswaardigheden : Passeer onder de prachtige Hadrianuspoort (een Romeinse triomfboog uit 130 na Christus) en bekijk de iconische Yivli Minaret (Fluted Minaret), een symbool van de stad. Oude haven : Daal af naar de pittoreske oude haven, ooit een bruisend handelscentrum, nu een serene jachthaven perfect voor foto's of een optionele boottocht. Shop en Sip : Snuffel door boetiekjes, kunstgalerijen en geniet van een Turkse koffie of thee in een café verscholen in een historische binnenplaats. Kaleiçi is een charmante mix van Romeinse ruïnes, Ottomaanse architectuur en het moderne mediterrane leven!
- - - Vanwege een tragisch ongeval dat plaatsvond op 12 april 2024 is de kabelbaan van Tünektepe momenteel gesloten. Als alternatief voor deze tour bezoeken we de prachtige **Boven-Düdenwatervallen**.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
De definitieve ophaaltijd wordt een dag vóór de excursie doorgegeven. U kunt uw eigen ophaalpunten opgeven, zoals Hotel - Adres - Ontmoetingspunt voor de ophaalservice. We hebben een ophaalservice vanuit heel Antalya, Konyaaltı, Lara, Kundu en Belek. Aandacht: Omdat het niet is toegestaan om met een minibus de oude binnenstad van Antalya (Kaleiçi) te betreden. De dag voordat de tour begint, wordt u op de hoogte gebracht van de ophaallocatie en -tijd.

I wanted to post this so others don’t get scammed. We booked this trip specifically due to the fact it was 3-4hr. We paid more for this but we didn’t want to spend a whole day doing a trip. The trip was 10 hours in the end! We got picked up at 9am and back at 7pm. We asked if we could go back early and explained we weren’t on a whole day trip, we were told no. We felt like we had been kidnapped. The morning consisted of spending an hour being locked in a jewellery sales shop with assistants hounding us for sales then another hour in exactly the same predicament in a leather shop with people trying to sell us their products. We did see the waterfalls and have a very short tour in Antalya. We were dropped in a shopping bizarre in Antalya (I think beside the tour guides friends shops), where we spent another hour. There was an option to go on a boat trip for €10 extra per person. We said we would rather get back to the hotel as we had dinner reservations at 7pm but were told no and if we didn’t want to go on the boat we had to just wait on those that did. The trip also states ‘small group’. We were a group of 50 people. We have asked for a refund as the longer trip is actually way cheaper than the shorter one but have just been told No. Please dont book this if you want a short trip!

The guide was fun and lovely. Just the lunch was a bit disappointing as i don't eat lamb or coriander which i am allergic to. But a lovely trip.

Yusuf was the perfect guide for this trip. He told us everything about the places we went to - which were fabulous. We saw two waterfalls, the coast, the old town and much more. Along with that, he gave us insights on his life in Türkiye, the traditions and history of the country - he is a well informed guy. For lunch he took us to a köfte-restaurant, which was well-known among the locals. Also be prepared for many cats during the tour! Would absolutely recommend if you want to get a good impression of Antalya during your stay.

We will remember a dedicated, warm and knowledgeable tour guide. Diverse nature, many beaches, a picturesque old town and impressive waterfalls. Conclusion: Thumbs up and five stars. A little tip: Bring cash in Euros. There are plenty of opportunities for tipping and shopping.

Had a fantastic time with Yusuf, our very knowledgeable driver/guide. We visited Antalya, Durden Falls, Hadrians Gate & Antalya Old Town on the 6th August.
