Treed in de voetsporen van Anne Frank terwijl je het laatste deel van de route loopt die ze aflegde naar het Achterhuis. Terwijl je langs de prachtige Amsterdamse grachtengordel loopt, hoor je fragmenten uit haar beroemde dagboek, waardoor Anne haar verhaal in haar eigen woorden kan vertellen. Je Gids neemt je mee door de aanloop naar de Tweede Wereldoorlog en legt uit hoe Anne & haar familie in Amsterdam kwamen wonen en waarom ze moesten onderduiken. Ook hoor je verhalen over Nederlands verzet, over pittige vrouwen die het opnemen tegen nazi-officieren & hoe het was voor mensen om in Amsterdam te wonen en werken tijdens de nazi-bezetting. Tijdens deze tour ervaar je ook enkele van de eigenzinnigere elementen van Amsterdam en hoe het als stad niet bang is om zichzelf belachelijk te maken. Hoewel deze tour oorlog en de holocaust bespreekt, toont het ook de vriendelijkheid van mensen en hun bereidheid om te helpen ondanks de gevaren. In de woorden van Anne -'Kijk hoe een enkele kaars zowel de duisternis kan trotseren als definiëren.' Geen extra kosten op deze tour.

Really good 2 hour walking tour that showed us many arts of the city. Lots of useful info not only about Anne Frank but also about Amsterdam. Michael our guide was excellent. Relaxed pace, just the right level of information. Very enjoyable.

We had a very informative tour with our sympathetic guide Barney, who told us about Amsterdam in addition to the life of Anne Frank. So the tour was varied and the severity of the subject well to take. For me and my 12-year-old daughter a perfect alternative to the Anne Frank house as I was late for tickets. The VR glasses were a first for both of us and something special again.
