Tussen de bergen van de stad La Paz bevindt zich een gebied met unieke geologische formaties die ons de indruk zullen geven dat we ons op een surrealistische plek bevinden. Tijdens deze ervaring neemt je gids je mee via een pad waar je een punt in de hoogte bereikt waar je de onmetelijkheid van de Vallei van de Animas, de stad, kunt observeren en de eerste zonnestralen tussen de bergen en unieke formaties van de Vallei van de Animas. Tijdens deze privétour legt uw gids het wereldbeeld van de lokale bevolking en hun overtuigingen uit, evenals belangrijke gegevens over de geologische formatie van de Andes en de kenmerken van de bergen. De ingang van Animas Valley is een fascinerende en pittoreske plek aan de rand van La Paz. Gezichtspunt 1: We stoppen om de vallei te observeren vanuit een uitkijkpunt in het bovenste deel van de vallei. Gezichtspunt 2: Zodra we het einde van het eerste uitkijkpunt bereiken, maken we ons klaar om tussen de formaties door te lopen om de flora en fauna van de vallei te zien. Gezichtspunt 3: We bereiken de top van de vallei, hier ontvang je het zonsopganglicht dat de formaties begint te bedekken terwijl we aan onze weg naar beneden beginnen.
Nadat we de Animas-vallei hebben verlaten, nemen we je mee naar het einde van onze dag en proeven we het meest traditionele lokale ontbijt.

We halen op bij alle hotels (hotels of accommodaties) in de stad La Paz. Op de dag van de tour stuurt uw gids of chauffeur u een WhatsApp-bericht wanneer zij bij de ingang van uw accommodatie aankomen.

Got up early , got picked up on time, went out to the start of the hike, and it all went well, Sergio was a good driver, a good conversation, knowledgeable. The scenery was awesome, it was a sunrise hike, even if you don't see the sun, it's a trip worth taking. A good start to the day. The hike itself was easy to moderate.
Got picked up to go for the early morning sunrise hike, kinda rainy and drizzling this morning , so didn't really expect to see the sun. But the the hike was easy to moderate, the views were amazing, and the guide who took me, sergio, he was was very knowledgeable and good at communicating. I would highly rate this as a must do if you are here in La Paz bolivia
The guide was basic and spoke more to the driver than to me. Stayed well ahead of me in the hike and several times I had to ask him if I could take a photo without him in the frame.

Sergio picked us up from our hotel for a sunrise hike in Valle de las Ánimas. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided fascinating, worldly conversation throughout the tour and some tips to make the most of our last day. After the hike, we enjoyed a delicious traditional Bolivian breakfast. This experience is highly recommended—there’s truly no better way to explore Valle de las Ánimas!
Sergio was amazing! Our tour of Valle de las Ánimas was unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating details about the area's unique geology and cultural significance. He was also so patient with my family, especially as we took our time climbing the trail. The drivers who picked us up were just as wonderful—kind, generous, and eager to share more about life in Bolivia. The views were absolutely breathtaking—a true hidden gem!
I would never book with this company again. The tour was cancelled due to public protests. They knew this would be an issue, that it would be hard to travel, but took the booking anyway. Even after their negligence I only received half refund. Very disappointed.
Emily. We did not cancel the tour. Both the guide, Andrew, and the driver were at your hotel at the agreed-upon time. You departed and arrived at a point where the protests no longer allowed you to continue. In this specific case, the protests had been confirmed at the end of the day before your tour, and since your tour starts around 5 a.m., we had no information on the status of the protests. We understand the displeasure caused by the situation. I must clarify that transportation strikes and protests are events beyond our control. We wish you the best and we are sorry that we couldn't fulfill the tour as we always do. We love what we do.

A great start to the morning-eerie spires rising up with the city in the background. Both Nelson and Jorge were great and so enthusiastic to share their local knowledge,with Jorge giving us lots of history and other tips for Bolivia.

THE BEST guide ever, so knowledgeable of the lands and also very funny and pleasant to be with. It’s an amazing tour with amazing nature and view of La Paz. Because the tour is so early, we got the valley to our selves. Highly recommend this tour, worth every penny!
