U wordt tussen 7.30 en 08.00 uur (afhankelijk van uw hotellocatie) opgehaald bij uw hotel om Angkor Wat te bezoeken. Reizen naar het loket duurt ongeveer 15 tot 30 minuten. Nadat je je ticket hebt gekocht, duurt het nog 15 minuten om Angkor Wat te bereiken. Met deze Mooning verken je het interieur van de grote tempel, breng je een grondige twee uur door met het ontdekken van de gangen, centrale kamers en bovenste terrassen van deze werkelijk geweldige tempel. Je deskundige lokale gids zal de talloze verhalen achter de langste basis-reliëfgravures ter wereld ontcijferen en je een inzicht geven in het leven tijdens het hoogtepunt van het Khmer-rijk.
Op de weg van Angkor Wat is dit het goede toegangspunt tot de stad voor meer bezoekers. Alle vijf de poorten zijn vergelijkbaar, maar de zuidelijke poort is het meest uitgebreid gerestaureerd en het meest compleet, deze plaats zal je gids ongeveer 20 minuten uitleg geven voordat hij verder gaat met het bezoeken van de Bayon-tempel

De Bayon-tempel is voldoende compact om elke volgorde van bezoek mogelijk te maken, vooral omdat de afwezigheid van een omringende muur het gemakkelijk maakt om binnen te komen. De doolhofachtige binnenomheining, met zijn smalle kamergangen en trappen, biedt af en toe een verrassende glimp van de raadselachtige gezichten, waardoor het een fascinerende ervaring wordt. Daarnaast leer je tijdens de tour veel van je gids.
Geniet van een lunch op eigen kosten en een rustpauze voordat je verder gaat naar de jungle-omhulde Ta Prohm - een van de meest sfeervolle van alle tempels in Angkor. Ta Prohm was ooit de thuisbasis van 2.740 monniken en ziet er vandaag net zo uit als in de vroege jaren 1850, toen de Franse ontdekkingsreiziger Henri Mouhot deze afbrokkelende site 'herontdekte'. Nadat je het doolhofachtige interieur van Ta Prohm hebt verkend, keer je terug naar je hotel na een lange, maar vervullende dag, die je een leven lang herinneringen aan een van de wereldwonderen zal geven voordat je terugkeert naar hotelstad Siem Reap.

- Normaal zal onze gids stoppen voor lunch tijdens de lunch in een lokaal restaurant in het nationale park en het kan duurder zijn dan restaurants in de stad, maar het is alleen de beste keuze tijdens deze tour.

We had a wonderful day! Our tour guide Sopheap Rath was very knowledgeable and explained a lot (and he took the best slow motion videos of us). It was really nice and helpful to learn about the meaning of the carvings and temples and we enjoyed the whole day to the fullest. Our driver Nath was also amazing and always waited for us with water and cool towels. We also had an amazing meal at Khmer Village Restaurant. We all can recommend the tour to everyone looking for an amazing experience and wanting to learn more about Khmer culture, tempels and its history!
I recommend this amazing tour with Sopheap… very knowledgeable about the Cambodia history, he was able to manage to change a bit the schedule to please the client and follow the beat of the client so I totally enjoyed…

We had an excellent day trip with friends exploring Angkor Wat in a Tuk Tuk. The weather was on a little warmer side, but the fresh breeze in the Tuk Tuk was very welcoming. Our Tuk Tuk rider was Ron and he was very accommodating to our demands. With excellent services. Cold towel after every temple visit and chilled water at a regular intervals. We visited main Angkor Wat temple plus three more. The state of the ruins is very bad. But the conservation process is slow & steady. Any trip is as good as its operator or guide. Our Tuk Tuk driver (Rorn +855 96 384 7664) made our day, in fact all three days we stayed here in Siem Reap. The city is above par than any Vietnamese City we visited. Clean and organised. City gave us a vibe of calmness and relaxed. Viva Cambodia, we enjoyed our short visit here. Importantly, ticking off Angkor Wat off my bucket list very satisfyingly.
Very well arranged. But it's all in the guide you get. We were lucky to have Tan. We ended up asking him to spend another day with us. Aside from the temples and the history stuff, he also got us into great restaurants on both days and customized the tour on the spot based on our questions. Ask for Tan when you book the tour.

Our tour guide Tann and driver Phen were excellent. Tann was very knowledgeable about Cambodia sites and it's history. Angkor Wat was spectacular as were the other sites. I would give 5 stars to our guide & driver.
